What fisheye lens/adapter fits on a Nikon D70 dslr?
I want one that is reletively cheap, because i have seen some that range from $30-$150. I bought one and found it does not click into place in my Nikon. Mine has the 2 white dots that show where to connect to, and there are few camera shops to refer to.
For a horrible quality screw-on adapter, which is really all you're going to get in your pricerange, it's important to buy one that fits your lens' filter thread. For the 18-70 which was commonly sold with this camera that's a 67mm thread.
This should fit: http://amzn.com/...B001K5UQX0 and it's opteka so not too shabby.
You could also get a set of holga lenses for your camera: http://shop.holgadirect.com/collections/digital-holga/products/digital-holga-kitchen-sink-kit
My Nikon AF 10.5mm fisheye lens fits on my D70 just fine; well, other than the fact my youngest son has my D70, and it is 1, 200 miles away.
Your budget of $150 is a bit low.
The lowest priced fisheye for your fine camera is the Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5, about $300. The Nikon 10.5 mm costs about $775. As you can see, there's a definite difference in cost. The Opteka fisheye is a f/3.5 manual focus lens and the Nikon fisheye is an auto-focus f/2.8, slightly faster.
Opteka HD² 0.20X Professional Super AF Fisheye Lens does exactly what I had hoped for. I have a Nikon D5000 and enjoy experimenting with different filters and lenses. The price on the Opteka was competitive and the service, packing and delivery time were excellent. Very happy with this purchase.
