Do I Want a Sony HX100V Compact or A Canon 550d/Nikon D3100 DSLR?

I'm looking at getting either of these 3 cameras.

I want e that's especially Professional for film. Film is more important to me for the camera.

I need something that is good in low light situations.

I was fixed on the HX100V Bridge camera til I saw that its lens isn't very wide and obviously, unlike the others, the lens can't be changed. I've also been told its "sensor?" isn't as good and obviously the focus and lens flexibility won't be as good.

Every ones thoughts?

Which SLR camera to buy?

I'm a 17 year-old boy who likes, and has as hobby, to photograph. I do like a lot to take photos because it makes me feel good, but it is not my biggest passion.
But that's not the point. What I actually want to ask is: Which SLR camera, not expensive because I won't be using it always, should I buy? Which brand as well. I saw the Nikon d3000 and the Nikon d3100, which were relatively cheap, but for what I saw they are kind off old! One I liked, which was "recent", was the Nikon d5100, and it looked interesting to me, but expensive, or are there any better/more recent cameras with the same or lower price?
I'm not an expert on the matter and don't know if Sony's or Canon's are better, but some help would be awesome.

Nikon D5100 recommendation for extra lens beside kit 18-55?

I bought recently a Nikon D5100 with kit lens (18-55mm), and would like to have some indications on to which other lens I could buy. I'm more interested in street photograph, landscapes and portraits (parties, outing with friends etc). Try to keep options and value as low as possible.

Concert Photos with a Nikon D3100?

Hi, I'm an armature photographer and in a couple weeks I'm going to a concert. This line-up NEVER comes to my city and I'm determined to get the best pictures I possibly can of the concert. I'm using a Nikon D3100 and I have both the original lens and a zoom lens (55-200mm) to assist. However, I need some advice on how I can get the best photos without flash and with me sitting behind the lighting and sound booth (which is two sections from the stage). Any advice would really help me out.

Lens Recommendations for a DSLR User?

I'm planning to order a Nikon D7000 very soon (Tomorrow), I've been set on this camera for many many reasons!

Of course I've been researching for the lens that will suit most of my needs. I plan to take pictures of Weddings, Parties, Ceremonies, Concerts, Clubs (Venues), and Wildlife. I'm not a big fan of landscape photos but when the time is right and at the right place, why not right?

I'm planning to get:

Nikon D7000 (Body Only)
AF-S Nikkor 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom Lens
AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G DX Lens

Do you think this is a good set up for now? I guess if I get the D7000 with the kit lens 18-105mm the 18 would be good for wide angle shots of groups and whatnot. Also 50mm are great for portraits. But I feel like I could survive with these 2 lenses and get the 50mm later on (Most likely Christmas!), then a wide angle lens. I would get a good wide angle lens but it costs too much right now!

What are your opinions?

35mm for close stuff and a good/fast lens to work with.
55-300mm for the VR long range goodness, and make wildlife and other stuff that much easier to take from a distance.

Then later on a 50mm for portraits and then a wide angle lens for landscapes/large group pictures.

Why are my night sports photographs blury?

Ok, so let me start by saying I'm almost a little embarrassed that I'm even asking a photography question considering that I'm a photographer, but until now I have never did night shoots. I have always done landscapes and day shoots.

Recently I have been shooting my Niece's soccer games, and photo's are coming out amazing however now they're going into state championship games which are at night. My pictures are blurring bad, so I'm asking if any sports photographers can give me some tips with the equipment I'm currently using to clean up my night action shots.

I have a Nikon D7000 with Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 currently shutter speed is at 500 since that is what I use during the day to shoot the game. I'm using a monopod to keep from having to deal with camera shake. I also have a high power speed-light but its only good up to 70mm. I was thinking of lowering the shutter speed to account for the low light, but was worried that would create more blur. Any thoughts?

Added (1). "fhotoace" thank you for your imput I'm currently at 1/500th shutter speed, but I'm about to check out your link. All the fields are high school stadiums. "Funky Monkey," my shutter is high the blur is from motion.
