Are Nikon lenses interchangable?

Richard
I have a Nikon D3000 and want to get a Nikon D3100. The D3000 came in a kit that came with the standard 15-55mm and a 55-200mm zoom. Will I be able to use these lenses on the body of a D3100, and will they function normally?

Yes they'll work just the same as they did on your D3000.

Of course they will. Why not?

That is the whole reason behind cameras systems.
I guess you missed that memo.
