Best tips to photograph macro and landscape? (Nikon D5100)?
I'm an amateur photographer who very recently acquired a Nikon D5100 with two lenses: a 18-55 and a 55-200. But what I really want to photograph is landscape and macro. Which are the tips to have fantastic photos? Special settings or light management?
Which is best from these to cameras?
I want a camera that has the best shutter speed and I wanted to know which is best from these two cameras; The Canon 550D( with a 15-88mm lens) or the Nikon D3100( with a 55-200mm lens)
I need to buy a Nikon D40 battery?
I have a Nikon D40 and will start shooting wedding photography soon. I will however need to buy some more batteries because I only have one. Are there any more powerful batteries I can use with the D40 or will I just have to purchase a few EN-EL9's?

This will is my third DSLR, but my first Nikon. I always put screen protectors on mine but obviously this ones different with the swivel screen.
My question is pretty simple. There are obviously LCD protectors available for the D5000, but my questions is does the hard cover not allow you to close the LCD if the hard cover isn't removed? Is a glass screen protector going to allow you to close the LCD without needing to remove the glass? Is my only solution to be able to close the LCD (screen facing in) is to use the cheap plastic (air bubble prone) screen protector?
Thanks. I don't want to buy them all and test out. I've put a hard cover on a Canon XTi and a glass cover on a Canon T1i.

Id really like to get this depth of feild, i have a nikon d5100 but i just can't get it!
I'm thinking of getting the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 for my Nikon D90.
or should I be considering the Tokina 12-24 f4? Or any other type of lens like the sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6?

Sigma 70-200mm f2.8
Nikkor 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF
Nikkor 50mm 1.4
I'm really picky about my lenses so I really don't want to invest in something I won't be able to use constantly. A lot of my friends have been telling me to get the Nikkor 24-80 f2.8 but I'm still a student and it's unbelievably expensive. I would really like a wide angle lens to shoot group shots inside crowded spaces as well as buildings when i'm in close range.
Please leave a quick review about the tokina 11-16 for anyone who owns it.

Selective color in Canon EOS 600D/Rebel T3i?
I think the selective color feature in the Nikon D5100 is a very nice one? Basically you can select up to 3 colors and all other things are black and white. Is this feature available in Canon 600D? Can someone describe?
