Nikon d3000 - any Black Friday deals?
I'm not having much luck locating discounts on the Nikon d3000 DSLR camera. Just wondering if there's maybe a store I missed, or Nikon really doesn't offer any discounts on its dslr cameras.

Do they still have the nikon D3100 in stores?

What nikon camera should a new photographer use?
I recently took a basic photography class at my highschool and I'm going out tonight for Black Friday to buy my first professional camera. I want to see if I can make a hobbie out of this. Any recommendations on what I should buy? I was thinking a Nikon D Series camera? Possibly the D3000?

Will Sigma lenses fit onto a Nikon D3000?
I need a new lens but for a cheaper cost then a regular Nikon lens. Any help or suggestions? I'm looking for a zoom lens bigger then 18-55mm and a nice Fstop, under f/5 would be nice.

Is buyherephoto.com a good website to buy cameras from?
I saw the NIkon D5100 for $460 and I'm not sure if it's a reliable website to buy your cameras from. Does anybody know if they have a store that I can go to and pick it up, or are these guys a scam and would over charge my credit card or something?

If i have a Nikon D3100, knowing it does not have a Mic input, can i use this?
If you have anymore suggestions please tell me.
Added (1). I clearly know it does not, but why would the sell it, knowing it doesn't have an input. The title of the item clearly says for Nikon D3100?!

Good additional lens for Nikon D3000?
I got this camera last year and was looking to buy a lens for it that will allow me to zoom in closer to things. I really have no idea what I'm looking for. Any suggestions? Thanks people.
Added (1). As I said… I really don't know much. I was looking to spend no more than $200, but it seems that I'll have to spend more than that.

Lens on my Nikon D40 is locked up and there's something loose inside it?
I turned my Nikon D40 on and tried to use the zoom but it wouldn't move. I took the lens off the camera and turns out there's a loose cylinder part in the centre which has come off. Zoom won't move at all! It was working perfectly this morning and now it's become like this.
Can I repair this myself? Otherwise how much would it cost me to repair this or to buy a new lens?

What should my next camera lens be?
I have a Nikon D3100, i have the 18-55mm lens that came with the camera and i also bought a 55-200mm lens a little bit after buying the camera kit.christmas is coming up and i'm thinking about asking for a new lens but i'm having trouble deciding what i should get… Should i keep going up to a 70-300mm or should i do something else. I like to take pictures of landscapes and flowers and other stuff like that. I mostly take pictures of my sister when she is dancing for the dance team any advice that you could give me on the next lens that i should get would be a great help.
