I have a Nikon d40 with a 200 mm lens, a 35 mm lens, and an 18-105 mm lens. I have never shot a basketball game before and I heard it's difficult to shoot pictures because of the lighting. Any ideas on what I should do?

I have a nikon d5000. I want to buy a lens that i can use for very up close photography. For insects and flowers for example. I'm not sure which one would be the right lens for these types of pictures.

I'm looking at the Canon EOS Rebel T3, Canon Rebel XS, and NIkon D3000.
They're all about the same price, and as far as I can tell, they have similar specs, but I don't know enough to read that closely.
I want it for a camera that will allow me to begin photography as a hobby, with full control etc.

thanks for the advice, but I've done tons of research about these cameras on amazon, and they all seem great. I want to find someone who's used one or more of these cameras to tell me how they are.
And concerning bundles-
I don't have anything else to accompany the new camera (tripod, memory card, lenses, etc.)
so whatever I buy would Ideally have that in the purchase as well. If I buy everything separately, I'm likely to spend more money, and I'm stretching the wallet here as it is.
Lowest Price to get Nikon D5100?
Anyone know where is the lowest price I can find the Nikon D5100, whether it be with or without a lens?
And are they reliable sources as well?
I recently purchased a Nikon D5100. I try my best to keep it clean, especially the body of the camera as I usually have my hands on this area. However I know after a while it may get dirty as a door handle would, after continual use, with germs and bacteria. I just wanted to see if anybody knew a proper way of cleansing the body of the DSLR without causing damage to the camera's effectiveness, color, durability etc.
Will nikon d40 lens work on a D3000 nikon camera body?
I found a site called B&Hphotovideo.com which has great deals on camera equipment and camera accessories. I was looking at the D3000 by nikon for between 450 to 600 just for a refurbished camera body no lens.

Exposure Help (Camera Screen to Computer Screen)?
When I take pictures it shows that my exposure is right on but once I take into NXview2 it shows up really dark. Can someone please tell me why?
