I recently purchased a Zeikos flash for my Nikon D3100 DSLR?
Can anyone tell me why it fires without me prompting it to fire, for example I don't test it - it just fires off flash almost at random and very frequently. There are also times that the flash does not fire when I would like it to. I'm relatively new to photography so maybe it's something I'm doing wrong but would like to know how to fix this.
Also what does i-TTL stand for? And what is the purpose of SL mode?

I'm in the market for a new lens for my nikon. I have a 18-55 kit lens with autofocus and vibration reduction. However, I need something with more range. Long story short there are 2 lenses. 55-200 mm, the only difference between them is the more expensive one has vibration reduction! The 90 dollar one is on sale, it's usually 150, is the 250 dollar VR lens worth it?

When filming i get light and dark bands across the screen but also filming at night there's loads of noise, the quality is really bad. I've tried different setting but i just don't get the HD what am i doing wrong? Desperate!
In shooting RAW photos, which SD Card is faster?
I would just like to know, in the photography world, SD Cards have different "CLASSES" right? 2, 4, 6, 10.
Now, if i shoot RAW on my Nikon D80, and do it burst (let's say i'm doing sports) Does it make a difference in terms of WRITE SPEED Between a Class 4 SD Card and a Class 10 SD Card?
In which is it a fact that if i use a class 10, it will write faster, thus not lagging in bursting.
How to take good portrait photos using Nikon D3000 without flash?
I'm using Nikon D3000 Camera but don't have Flash gun. I can use Tripod but I need to know the best settings using Manual (M), Aperture(A), Program(P) mode.
Last time I tried to have portraits using built in Flash but I was failed to fade the light of model's face. Although its Dark inside and no lights are available, but using the Built in flash there must be some good settings so that I can get good quality portraits.
There's so much light reflections on the face and looks so bad!
Please suggest some professional ways to controls the flash lights and settings.
