Compatible lenses for Nikon D7000?
I have a NIKON D7000 and i was thinking about buying the AF-S NIKKOR 200mm f/2G ED VR II which ofcours is an FX lens. Are they compatible?
The Nikon D7000 is compatible with all Nikon AF, AF-D, AF-G, AF-S, AF-I autofocus lenses. It can also manually focus with every Nikon lens ever made.
FX lenses are designed for larger sensors, and a DX camera like your D7000 or my D300 have no problems using them. It's when you use the smaller diameter DX lenses on an FX body that the image gets cut off.
