Nikon D90 (How long can I record my video clips in HD)?

Amateur sport photography lens for nikon d5100?
I'm looking for a lens with a fast f stop, 2.8 or faster, since it will mainly be used for taking photos of my friends playing footy on a friday night since i can't play any more with kidney issues. Any for not too much over $1000 would be nice since i'm 15 and not making that much money the tamron 70-200mm 2.8 has been the main lens i have been looking at, since the nikon equivalent is more expensive and doesn't auto focus on my d5100. Any help/ recommendations/ advice would be really appreciated!
Decent Macro Lens for Nikon D3100?
I've been planning on buying a DSLR for months now, and have decided on the Nikon D3100
it comes with the stock 18-55mm kit lens which is good for normal use. But i do a lotta macro photography and definitely need a macro as the 18-55 can't focus closer than a foot and a half or something.
My budget isn't big at all. I had a hard time convincing my parents to get me DSLR and now asking for a lens… So what's a low cost macro lens, maybe like Nikkor or something (though any brands ok) under 90-100 dollars?
Is it okay to use a DSLR in snow? Or do you need to have special protection for it?
I have a Nikon D3100 and I'm planning to bring it to our Korea Trip 2 days from now. Since its winter there, I'm afraid something might happen to my DSLR if I use it without protection.
Is it okay to use it? If not, do you know where I can buy protections for it locally?
PS. Even if it doesn't snow, just really really cold weather.
Does it matter if your battery is very low when you try and upload your pictures?
My battery is almost dead on my nikon d3000, does it interfere with the upload to my iphoto?

I have a nikon d3000 camera and i usually just plug it in to my mac and turn it on. It usually starts transferring the photos right away but i did the same thing a few minutes ago and it isn't working. I use a usb cable and that's all i have. Is there any way to make it transfer to my iphoto?

I've asked this before but this is in more detail. I've done some research into a Miranda 700cb flash and its got a 7.9 voltage flash trigger and the Nikon can apparently use up to a 12v safely i just want to make sure this would be safe to use?
