What is the cheapest f/1.4 waterproof Nikon dslr lens?
I'm looking to get a new lens for my d7000 and I'd like it to be waterproof so I use it in the rain. I already have three lenses that I really like, but I don't know if they are waterproof or not. Also, I'd really like to spend less than $1, 000 so it would be very helpful if you had any other suggestions. Thank you (:

Is telephoto zoom lens really good for taking photos with DSLR cameras?
I'm thinking of buying a f8-16 telephoto zoom lens with 2x teleconverter for my Nikon d5100. How good will it be for wild-life photography? Can it also be used for astrophotography?
Added (1). What I have in mind is Rokinon 650-1300 f/8-16 Telephoto zoom lens with 2x teleconverter 650-2600.probable made in USA.
I'm confused with these two lenses
AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED (4.3x)
or
AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR
price isn't an issue, but performance sure is. I even heard that the 70-300mm zooming capabilities increases with a DX body (not sure though).

Suggest a macro lens within $600?
I have been bitten by the Macro Bug lately. I own a Nikon D5000 (which doesn't have an internal focus motor). I'm looking for a good macro lens, which has following features:
# gives 1:1 magnification
# has vibration resistance
# should auto-focus on my camera
# my budget is around $600
Please suggest me the options to look for. Will highly appreciate your inputs.

I have the d7000 and the nikkor 16-35 vr lens. The day i bought it, the images were very crisp but it seems as though the images are no longer as sharp as i'd expect.
just wondering whether it's the lens, camera or me but i've been using the D70s for three years so no real stranger the dslr.

Whenever I take a photo my son wants me to take one of him too, I have sometimes end up with my memory card full way too early because of this.
DSLR bag, 2-3 lenses and flash?
I can't find or make up my mind. I currently have the Nikon D3100 with Tamron 18-270 PZD VC lens and a Metz 50 flash. In the next two weeks I'm going to buy the Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 and I can't fit all those in my current Sony camcorder bag, which can just fit my current gear. So I'm looking for a DSLR bag for a body and lens + max 2 other lens + flash. Just recommend me something, low price would be appreciated.
