I'm looking for a new camera - Any recommendations?
My Nikon D40x recently died on me. I'm looking for something about the same level, same pricing and around the same size.

Friend is selling me his Mint condition Nikon D3000 body only for $260 cash. Is it worth it for the price or am I being overpriced?
What is the difference bewteen Non-AI and AI/AIS Nikon lenses?
The non-ai lenses are older than ai/ais, what is the difference? Will non-ai work on a Nikon FM-10? And will it work on a D5000 on M mode with lose of light meter?
Added (1). Ok I found out Non-AI lenses will work on the FM-10 but metering will not be accurate and conversion is recommended. For the D5000 it will work just no metering which I was expecting. I don't know about the converting non-ai to ai so I shouldn't get non-ai lenses and get ai/ais lenses.
Any tips on sneaking in a DSLR to a concert?
I'm going to Bamboozle this year and I have a nikon d3100 and I really want to use it, any tips on sneaking one in? Or should i just forget it?

I bought my nikon d5000 about 2 years ago, as my first dslr. I ended up loving photography (i do a lot of portrait photography). I've bought new lens and stuff, but I decided now would be a good time to upgrade to a better camera. Does anyone recommend any cameras?

I've recently acquired a lens and have no idea what model, make or lens it is.

Using a Nikon D3000 - why are my photos overexposed using shutter priority mode?
I photograph people in nightclubs and bars (so in low light conditions), when i use shutter priority mode and try to lengthen the shutter speed for bright backgrounds the people are really over exposed, is this because of the aperture? Shouldn't the camera automatically change the aperture so that your photo is exposed correctly if in shutter priority mode?
Added (1). So then how do i get bright backgrounds without overexposed people? Do i need an external flash?
