How to start modeling at age 15?

I'm 15 years old, 5 foot 6, and about 125 pounds. I have medium length blonde hair (hair ends at chest area) and fair skin and blue eyes.
I have always wanted to model, and I have a few questions before I talk to my parents.
How do I build a portfolio? Do I need professional pictures, or just good quality? (I have a Nikon d40 and a tripod, so I might use that)
How do I bring this up to my parents? What should I say to them?
What do you wear to an audition?
How do I do the "walk"?

Hi i'm pretty much your twin! Haha i'm a model and have been doing it for about 10 years now. To build a portfolio you do need professional pictures unfortunately… But think of it as all your clients see the pictures before they see you so you want them to looks as good as possible. To talk to your parents about it just simply say i how you have taken an interest in modeling, done some research, and really feel like its something you would to per sue. Audition attire really depends on the audition. But you should always look your age! Don't try to look 20 when your only 15! Clients hate that! But usually once you get an audition you will receive some info on it including what NOT TO WEAR. And i hate to be barer of bad news but at your height you really won't be entered into the high fashion world with runways and fashion shows. You would be a good catalouge girl for some stores… But no need to worry about your walk. Just keep a positive attitude.

You need to grow more but you can try petite modeling.
