I need a camera with a pc jack?
My father is a pro photographer, but he hasn't been in business for like 20 years. So he needs me to get him a camera with a pc jack. I wanted to get him the canon rebel t3i, but I don't think it has a pc jack. I don't want to spend over $1, 000 for a camera, and preferably not that close to $1, 000. Do any canon cameras have a pc jack? Which ones? I was also looking at the nikon D5100, but I dunno if it has a pc jack. Please recommend some good cameras for me. If I'm right and the t3i doesn't have a pc jack, then is there any other way to hook up a lighting system to it?
I'm grateful for any info you can give me.

What are you talking about, a USB out put? If that's it every digital camera made has a USB out for uploading to a computer, regardless of make or model. Of course the t3i has a USB out.
He is referring to a PC (Prontor/Compur) sync connector/jack for triggering flashes.
For Canon DSLRs, it is only available on the "prosumer"/semi-professional (xxD/7D/5D series) and professional grade (1D series) cameras. If you look at the cameras spec sheet it will show "external flash- Hot-shoe plus Sync).
I'm unfamiliar with Nikons.
ADDT'l: There are hot-shoe adapters that have a PC Sync on them. I keep a Wein Safe Sync in my camera bag at all times and it has the PC connector http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...oe_to.html
