Is Having VR on a 55-200mm Lens Important?
I have a Nikon D5100 and am looking at getting a 55-200mm lens. However the difference in price between VR and non VR can be ridiculous!
Is VR necessary on a 55-200mm lens?
I'm not really looking to do much with the lens apart from a few zoo shots and architectural pictures and I like to think I have a nice steady hand.
What are your thoughts etc?
Wich camera is more quiet, nikon d3100 or canon eos 1100d? Shutter sounds? I know that thay are in every slr camera, but is there a quiet mode? >.< thanks!

Why will my Nikon D3100 not take a photo if the flash is on?
It works fine until the flash comes on via auto or I put it on manually. It just doesn't take the photo.
Added (1). Its nothing to do with the focus even when its in manual it won't shoot.
