What is the min.time between two consecutive shots of Nikon D3200?

Hi. I'm going to buy a Nikon D3200 tomorrow. I need one last information before buying that. What is the minimum it takes to capture the next image after shooting one. In which mode do I get this time the least?

Thinking about a new dSLR

Alright, so I've been messing around with digital photography for a few years now. (Probably 4?) I'm DEFINITELY not even close to "good" at photography. However, I've been messing around with my Nikon D40 and a few different lenses for a few years now and I think its time that I should buy a new body.

I'm torn, however. I LOVE Nikon (not that I know any other brand; Canon for example) so I'd probably be comfortable sticking with Nikon. (Since I have the most experience with that brand.) Anyway… I have a budget of about $1500 and then approximately another $500 to spend on a lens or two.

I have a remote, external flash, tripod, etc that I use that I've been using with my D40.

So, my ultimate question is which body should I go for? Just because I have $1500 to spend on a body/body+kit doesn't mean I need to spend it all.

I've been looking at the D90 and D7000 for months now. (Shooting in the stores and messing around with them.) And I've recently discovered the D7100.

Anyway, what would YOU do if you were in my position or do you have any suggestions for a beginner?

Nikkor 18-55 Focus ring loose?

I just bought a nikon D5100 with thekit 18-55mm lens. Less than two months later, the focus ring is loose. I didn't do anything to it, I've taken great care of all my Equipment. Nevertheless, the focus ring wobbles side to side. I've read this is a common problem with cheap lenses. Okay, not a big problem. What's really bothering me, is when I try to turn the focus ring all the way to the right, it gets stiff until I can't turn it anymore. So I couldn't get sharp pictures of the moon because it wouldn't focus on it (or other distant objects). It even messes up the auto focus. Is this also a common problem? Hopefully my warranty will cover it.

How much photography courses at academy of arts?

So I have been in talks with academy of arts about there online program for photography, but I want to know how much the course is? Is it super expensive?

Also I'm using a Nikon d70 camera and was wondering do I need a better camera with higher megapixels? I'm getting a MacBook soon since its known that's what pro photographers use.

If you are taking or have taken the academy of arts photography class let me know your feedback of how you like it so I can make an official decision!

What kind of post processing software do I need?

I use a Nikon d3100, the only software I have is Paint Shop Pro 7, which is pretty old. Can you do much with that or do I need to buy a newer one? I want to be able to edit photos in RAW like the pros. I understand that these are pretty expensive.

Are my lenses from my Nikon D3000 compatible with a D7000?

I'm a freshman photography student and want to upgrade my current camera to a D7000. My current D3000 came with a AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens. I also have a AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED and a AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G. Will these lenses be compatible with a D7000?

I also experience some vignetting with my prime lens, objects near the corners sometimes appear warped or really soft (compared to the rest of the frame) when I'm shooting with a wide aperture. The corners even sometimes appear blurry. Will this still happen with a D7000?
