How to get the flash to pop up /open on a Nikon D3100?
How do I get the flash to pop up /open on a Nikon D3100?

I need a nice camera for mostly art, and i need it for a few trips i'm going on soon. How is this cameras quality for the price and the features?

So i've gotten a lot more interested in photography lately. As of right now, I have a nikon d70s, which is by no means a bad camera, but still could be better. Is it worth it to sell what I have, and buy a new, better one? It seems that the d70s has a lot of limitations, and is an aging camera.

Is the Nikon d3000 good for portrait photography?
I know it depends mostly on the lens. But, would you say this camera could carry me through some free lance photography (I.e.seniors, weddings, portraits)?
I don't have a lot of money, so the used d3000s are the perfect price for me. Would you say it's versatile? Can it suit beginners, intermediates, and professionals alike?
Or, since I already know the basics of photography (light, rule of thirds, leading lines, shutter speed, aperture, diaphragm), should I save more money and not get an entry level camera?

Does the Nikon D3100 work with usb microphone?
I recently purchased the Nikon D3100. Since it doesn't have a microphone input, can you connect it with a usb microphone? And if so, what brand would you recommend?
Also, would the Zoom H1 do the job if I'm shooting a video with this camera?

Which Nikon Camera Would Be The Best For These Types Of Settings?
For a photographer who deals with low-lighting concerts for most of their work, would you recommend the D90 or the D5100? Why?
I know what I'm doing with cameras. I know that getting the D90 would be better in the sense I can use AF and AF-S lenses but I'm not really worried about that. I just really need to know which one will be have the best shutter speed and will give me the right amount of lighting for a low-light setting. Right now I shoot my concerts with the 50mm 1.8 but I'll be getting the 1.4 to use with the new camera.

How to make a photo blurry-looking?
it doesn't look completely focused, yet its not blurry. This photo was taken with a nikon d7000

I'm taking pictures for my brothers wedding this Friday. He didn't give me anytime to prepare. I'm not a professional. I do want to be a professional photographer though. I'm nerves. Does anyone have any tips. I have a Nikon D3000 camera. I haven't seen the place they are getting married and I still don't know where it is until Friday. Any advice is welcomed.

Is the Nikon d7000 with the 18 105mm lens any good for shooting music videos?
As far as the Nikon vs Cannon debate w/ DSLR cameras under $1000, I've found favor in the Nikon videos that I have seen so far. I plan to shoot some music videos. I'm going to buy Vegas Pro 12 for video editing. Can anybody vouch for the Nikon d7000 with an 18 105mm lens for music videos? And is learning proficiency in Vegas Pro 12 very hard?

How to use multiple exposures for a star trail photo?
I would like to take 100 or more 30-second exposures of the stars and then stack them on my computer. I have a remote control for pressing the shutter, but how do I take 100 exposures for 30 seconds each? I don't want to manually do it myself, that would be very tedious. I can use a Nikon D3100 or a D600.
