Which DSLR should I upgrade to? - 1

I have a Nikon D3000 and really need to upgrade it. I'm going to Africa with a 80-400 4.5 Nikon lens, a 50 mm 1.8 Nikkor lens and a 11-16 2.8 Tokina lens.
I would like something that autofocuses with these and has high ISO performance (as well as better quality images, although I know that mostly corresponds to the lens).

Nikon D3100 not connecting to computer?

I have an acer laptop which runs windows vista. I keep trying to upload photos from my nikon d3100 via the usb cord but the computer does not recognise it. It is the usb cord that came with the camera, and fits perfectly both ends. The camera recognises that it has been plugged in, as it stays on and doesn't automatically switch off.nothing appears at all on the laptop, and there's absolutely no trace of the camera being connected whatsoever, even in device manager. I have downloaded a driver specifically for my camera but the computer won't run it, and my laptop is too old to support the new memory card so i can't do it that way either.

any ideas? I really need to upload some pictures!

What are the cons of using nikkor lenses on a canon?

I'm a ameture photographer that has 3 nice lenses for a Nikon D3000 and I got a Canon t2i which produces better pictures! I was wondering if I would lose quality if i use the Adapter to make the Nikkor lenses work on the canon or lose anything else that is different from the canon lenses? I heard you lose autofocus but thats just it. But I don't know what else I'd lose!

DSLR: Which model is best for me? - 1

I'm a begginner photographer and this is gonna be my first DSLR. I want my camera for images rather than video mostly. I just want the best image quality over all for the most reasonable price.

I'll also throw in the age old question: Nikon or Canon?

I've only really done my research for Nikon and found the D3200 to be good. If there are any Canon models that are equivelent to that what are they?

A good entry level DSLR for beginning concert photography?

I'm looking for a good DSLR camera (my budget is $470.00) i want to start doing some concert photography, but i would like to know what would be the best camera for the job? I'm looking at the nikon D3100, though i'm not completely sure as to how it will perform in a concert setting (low light, etc) any suggestions?

What Wide angle lens would be good on a Nikon D5100?

So, I need a wide angle lens for my Nikon D5100 - this is a DX camera, so this is a cropped camera basically.

I was looking at the Tokina 14-24mm camera but I wasn't sure how much of a difference it would be to my 18-55mm nikon nikkor lens. I understand that the difference is 4mm between 14 and 18. But Because it is cropped would it still be the same difference (4mm difference).

By the way, if the answer to the above question is yes, then no need to read this following thing.

What lens would be good, for around £250 - which is around 12-28mm or something very similar, NO FISHEYE!

Lens for nikon d5100?

I just recently started getting into photography and I have been learning about it for about the last four months. I decided the d5100 was the best camera for the price (could not afford d5200 or d7000) and I really am actually impressed except I want to buy a new lens preferably a 200mm lens and my budget is 200$ any help would be appreciated.

Hi so I'm probably going to get the nikon d3100 and I don't know what lense to get so I have 3 questions: do all nikon lenses fit on all nikon cameras? If not do they all fit on the d3100? And what lense do you recommend for filming mini movies and stuff like that?
