Will a rubber camera armor for a Nikon d40 fit a d3000?

Trying to get a rubberized camera armor case for the d3000. The size for each camera looks similar, but I'd like to make sure. Anyone know if one for a d40 will fit?

D3000 dimensions: 5.0 x 3.8 x 2.5 in.

D40 dimensions: 5.0 x 3.7 x 2.5 in.

I doubt it, these will be very much shaped for the specific camera. Even if dimensions are the same it may still be shaped ifferently.
