How to get a Nikon Speedlight SB-16 Battery Lid off?
My mom is giving me her old camera gear, including her SB-16. She has not used it in years, and when I try to get the lid off, it won't budge. I fear the batteries that are in it have corroded and I don't want to damage the flash while trying to get it open. Any suggestions?
Okay, so i'm a beginner photographer and i want a good nikon or canon photography camera. I have no budget.
i want a camera that comes with a fisheye lens in that's possible?
uhm, anyway, thanks in advance.

Which is better: canon, nikon or fuji?
We're looking at getting a good camera to take pictures of our kids. We're looking at a budget of 200-350 and we've found a few that look good. We were told we had to get a canon, regardless of megapixles and zoom. I have a hard time believing that but what do I know. Which is the better camera and why?
Canon powershot xs130 (12MP, 12x zoom)
Canon powershot xs230 (12MP, 14x zoom)
Fujifilm S4000 (14MP, 30x zoom)
Nikon L120 (14MP, 21x zoom)
We want good quality, fast (to catch kids) and we don't want to pay for a nameā¦ We want to pay for the best camera.
Best low-light digital camera?
For taking pics of small children. Was thinking of the Nikon P300. Also, I would eventually like to move on from my point-and-shoot and thinking about getting one of the EVIL cameras. I like the new Pentax Q but seems very pricey.
Nikon 50 mm 1.8 lens vs 50-200mm 4-5.6 lens?
Which one:
1. Takes better portraits pictures
2. More sharp
3. Has better performance in low light coditions
4. Has higher value for money
Great pro-level camera shops in Portland, Oregon, area?
I just moved to Portland and would like to know some opinions on where the best camera shops are. This does NOT have to be limited to Portland but for now that is what I'm looking for. This includes camera shops that sell high-end digital Nikon or Canon cameras and pro-level camcorders (does not have to be the same store). There's also a FILM camera store here but not sure which one and I would LOVE to try them out as I use both film and digital cameras.
DSLR Camera for photography, life, videos, etc?
I'm really looking into investing in a dslr. I'm basically going to use it for a fashion blog, youtube videos and photography in general. I want something that could be use for daily life, but also for concerts, dance performances, traveling, fashion photography, school, parties, walking down the street, and recording etc. I will be taking photograhy classes to so i need a camera that will sustain in those classes deffinetly. My price range is between $750 and $850, but i won't be purchasing until December. I need opinions on brands such as Nikon and Canon (which one is better) and also explanations as to why your camera choice is better.
Can I put a Memory card adapter into my digital camera?
I just bought a Nikon digital camera. And I bought a 4gb micro memory card that did not come with an adapter for some reason. Well I ordered it from ebay. But anyway. I didint know a my digital camera would not need a micro memory card, it needs a much bigger one, like a standard size memory card fom what I saw online.since a memory card adapter is about the same size as a standard size memory card, I'm wondering if I can put the micro memory card inside the adapter and put it into the digital camera? Or I have to just buy a standard size memory card and spent my money on the micro memory card for no reason?
Will my Nikon battery charger work overseas?
I'm from the US But I'll be traveling to Europe, which uses about 220v.
My camera uses those rechargeable rectangle batteries instead of the normal (AA/AAA) batteries, so I need a separate charger for it. The charger has two parts: a main black rectangle (where you place the battery in to charge) and a cord that attaches to the black rectangle and extends to an outlet.
**The black rectangle thing looks like this: &imgrefurl=http://www.shopping.com/Nikon-EN-EL3e-Rechargeable-Li-Ion-Battery-for-D200-D300-D700-and-D80-Digital-SLR-Cameras/info&usg=__NmEVN-7OxaKvIDhZn2vUtLuw-fE=&h=148&w=149&sz=5&hl=en&start=76&zoom=1&tbnid=h142EGG0NRfk7M:&tbnh=118&tbnw=119&ei=CsoTTt-cA8e_gQfOltH-BA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dnikon%2Bbattery%2Bcharger%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1408%26bih%3D875%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=476&page=4&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429, r:0, s:76&tx=78&ty=63
and the cord looks like the thing on the left side of this picture: &imgrefurl=http://www.crutchfield.com/ISEO-rgbtcspd/p_054MH23/Nikon-MH-23-Battery-Charger.html&usg=__nlJFk7xgdzT6iIOKru-k34z-f14=&h=245&w=450&sz=15&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=uChGEIJHHapg1M:&tbnh=149&tbnw=170&ei=CsoTTt-cA8e_gQfOltH-BA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dnikon%2Bbattery%2Bcharger%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1408%26bih%3D875%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=437&vpy=211&dur=761&hovh=166&hovw=304&tx=219&ty=110&page=1&ndsp=27&ved=1t:429, r:2, s:0
The black rectangle part says it can take 100-240V.
However, the cord only says 125V.
I already have adapters, but nothing to convert the voltage should I need it.
So, even though the cord does not say the correct voltage, will the entire charger still work in Europe?
Which is better: SONY, NIKON, Kodak camera?
My birthday is coming and I'd love to have a profesional camera, I don't want those that ''profesional photographers'' use (the ones that cost like $1500, are very big, and are hard to adjust and use), but I want a really good digital camera. I saw a NIKON at a store which price was $847 I really liked that one but I want to see other options. I have a Sony Cybershot (not profesional camera) with 10.1 megapixels but I need a better one! I want high quality photos. So which one do you recommend?
