Will my Nikon battery charger work overseas?

I'm from the US But I'll be traveling to Europe, which uses about 220v.
My camera uses those rechargeable rectangle batteries instead of the normal (AA/AAA) batteries, so I need a separate charger for it. The charger has two parts: a main black rectangle (where you place the battery in to charge) and a cord that attaches to the black rectangle and extends to an outlet.
**The black rectangle thing looks like this: &imgrefurl=http://www.shopping.com/Nikon-EN-EL3e-Rechargeable-Li-Ion-Battery-for-D200-D300-D700-and-D80-Digital-SLR-Cameras/info&usg=__NmEVN-7OxaKvIDhZn2vUtLuw-fE=&h=148&w=149&sz=5&hl=en&start=76&zoom=1&tbnid=h142EGG0NRfk7M:&tbnh=118&tbnw=119&ei=CsoTTt-cA8e_gQfOltH-BA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dnikon%2Bbattery%2Bcharger%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1408%26bih%3D875%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=476&page=4&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429, r:0, s:76&tx=78&ty=63
and the cord looks like the thing on the left side of this picture: &imgrefurl=http://www.crutchfield.com/ISEO-rgbtcspd/p_054MH23/Nikon-MH-23-Battery-Charger.html&usg=__nlJFk7xgdzT6iIOKru-k34z-f14=&h=245&w=450&sz=15&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=uChGEIJHHapg1M:&tbnh=149&tbnw=170&ei=CsoTTt-cA8e_gQfOltH-BA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dnikon%2Bbattery%2Bcharger%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1408%26bih%3D875%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=437&vpy=211&dur=761&hovh=166&hovw=304&tx=219&ty=110&page=1&ndsp=27&ved=1t:429, r:2, s:0
The black rectangle part says it can take 100-240V.
However, the cord only says 125V.
I already have adapters, but nothing to convert the voltage should I need it.
So, even though the cord does not say the correct voltage, will the entire charger still work in Europe?

Yes, it can be used up to 240 V, however the plug will not physically fit, so you'd need an adapter (as you realize, the plug doesn't change the voltage).
Technically yes -- but last time I traveled, I was too chicken to plug my Canon charger into a 220 V (or whatever it was) in UK. I was afraid it was going to burn up so brought along a little transformer for it.

I used my Nikon charger with generic adaptors in China, Hong Kong, and Japan with no problems. The Nikon charger automatically adapts to different voltages and only needs a plug adaptor.
