Which lens would be better for astrophotography on my Nikon D7200 (DX)?
I've been looking online for a while trying to decide which lens to get and I've narrowed it down to two. The Rokinon 16mm f/2.0 ED AS UMC CS Lens for Nikon F Mount which is designed for an APS-C sensor (DX) and the Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC Wide-Angle Lens for Nikon which is designed for a full frame sensor (FX). I just want to know which one would take better photos. I'm aiming for landscape shots with a starfield or the Milky Way in the background and maybe a few time-lapse videos as well.
Any help with this would be great, if you ve had experience with both these lenses on a DX camera what was it like. If you could post pictures or links to photos that you ve taken with either of these lenses on a DX camera that will be cool.

Help on choosing my first DSLR?
I wanted to purchase a new DSLR under $1000, I've had my eye on mostly the Cannon T6, T6S as well as the Nikon D3300. I'm still a bit confused on when people say the lense is more important than the megapixels (aside from user skill) because I'm so used to using cell phone cameras and what not. The main things I want to use it for is landscape and night time shooting. I always just assumed if there are more megapixels there would be more detail. I have some existing lenses from my dad for Cannon, but since this is my first time buying i'm not sure for the price if its better to stick with cannon or jump ship if Nikon is the better route for the price.
I have a Nikon D3300 Dslr. I'm have external mic problems?
My DSLR doesn't like my Azden SMG-x1 boom mic. All it gives me in the realm of sound is buzzing and hissing. Like a really pisssed off goose. Apparenlty there's some sort of sound conversion issue that I was not aware of. I don't feel like sending the mic back because its really nice and I know it works because I've tested it on my churches camera. I also tried to use my Zoom H1 as a Preamp but i got the same issue

Added (1). We stayed at a Days Inn Suite, the motel chain back then was about 5 years old.
Added (2). I think Days Inn came about in 1970.
Added (3). I have roughly 400 pictures that my dad took with his Nikon of Disney World during the Bicentennial.
Added (4). Eventually, I'll post all of those pictures on Flickr.
How a two year warranty for a camera works at Best Buy?
Last year, I bought the Nikon P600, with a two year warranty. The sales person told my father and I that in the future, if i brought in the P600, I could get a dslr paying the difference of the P600. "A dslr will only cost you about 200 dollars." Its been a year and i'm preparing to get a Nikon d5200. If you work there or have any info, what should i take alongside the camera, any paperwork? Receipts? I have an online receipt they sent me on my email. Also, if i get the D5200 will it really be around $200?
