How to send videos from your camera to your phone?
I want to edit video with iMovie on my phone, I have a D3300 Nikon but when I try to email the videos to myself it's to long. I want to be able to save the videos on my D3300 on my iPhone's camera roll. Is there a way to do that?
I connect the camera's USB port to the computer's USB port. Sometimes I take the memory card out of the camera and put it in the computer's memory card reader. In either case, after the video is in the computer, I import the video to a video editor. Edit. Render. Export or share the edited file as a M4V or MP4 file. Drag the file to iTunes, then sync my iPhone.
You solved your own problem - but did not connect the dot.
You said, "when I try to email the videos to myself it's to long".
If you can't use a computer to make the videos shorter, that means when you capture the video, you *must* make sure the capture is short enough so that you can email the video.
Use an app called Transfer Pro on your phone to wirelessly transfer the video from your computer to your iPhone. I use it to transfer photos and videos to my iPhone and iPad from my PC.
If you have an iphone you can buy a lightning to usb cord and itll connect to your camera cable directly to your phone! Make sure to shoot in JPEG though its a faster import
