Nikon FM vs FM-10? Which one?

My boyfriend recently got into photography after playing around with my FM2. He bought an FM-10 and said it feels much cheaper and doesn't like it as much (FM-10s aren't made by nikon so they're pretty different). I saw a good condition Nikon FM on ebay and am SUPER tempted to get it for him, to get a much more solid feeling camera. Should I go for it?

Nikon FM2 Film rewind lever stuck?

I'm having an issue with my Nikon FM2. The little 'switch' next to the actual film rewind knob itself is very sticky. I can get it to move, but it is very sticky feeling. What can I do to alleviate this?

Mirrorless Cameras: Are they good investment?

The following questions I ask because as they say, "knowledge is power". And the idea of a DSLR type camera only smaller sounds ideal to me.

I have seen so far 3 mirrorless cameras that I like. Canon EOS-M, Sony NEX-7, and Olympus OM-D EM-5.

1) Are the lenses for these or all mirrorless cameras able to use on the any updated version? Say I invest in the NEX-7 and get a good lens, will I be able to use the lens if they make a NEX-8? Well, the only way to know this is if you can use the lenses of the previous model that came before NEX-7 on the NEX-7.

I know more about DSLRs then I know about mirrorless cameras. I know I can invest in lenses on and Canon and Nikon. But what about mirrorless cameras like the 3 I mentioned?

2) What about a life of a mirrorless camera? I know that with DSLRs they have an idea of what is expected with those "shutter cycles test". But what about mirrorless cameras?

Thank you once again.

Added (1). Also, if you know anything about any of the 3 cameras I mentioned, please let me know what you think about them. And any information you know.

Nikon V1 Picture Control?

The Nikon V1 has the option of Picture Control. However, it is greyed out. What settings do I need for it to be useable?

Many thanks

Added (1). To AWBoater, thanks for the help, but the problem still persists. Are there any settings that must be in use or similar?

Added (2). I'm stupid. Found out it was on -Auto Scene Selector-. I shouldn't be allowed to breed.

Fujifilm Cameras - Are they good? (X100S)?

A few questions about Fujifilm and this X100S camera.

1) So I saw that new X100S. It looked really nice. But, how well of cameras do Fujifilm make? I'm under the impression that Nikon, Canon, Leica, and Hasselblad are top dogs in the field of cameras… But is Fujifilm cameras a good investment too?

2) Don't get me wrong. I looked into the camera myself. And I like what it does and all. But, how is the quality of the camera build itself? The camera goes for about $1200 or so. So I don't really know if that's a high price for this type of camera, or it's cheap compared to other brands of the same type of camera.

3) I noticed that Canon and Nikon do a new update to their top line every 3 years or so. But some, like Canon's Rebel line is about ever 6 month or so. My question here is, will the X100S get an update in a few month, or in a few years? I try to find the release date of the X100, but had no luck.
