I have Nikon SB600 and new Pocket wizard Plus X.
I know how to triger SB600 wirelessly in TTL mode.
What I want is to use Plus X so that I can triger SB600 when it's blocked (IR doesn't fire).
Plus X doesn't support TTL so I need to go manually.
If I have SU-4 on camera, and put Plus X on top of SU-4… Will it triger wirelessly SB600 (with Plus X of course)?
And will manuall settings for SB600 work, I guess it will?
A camera for lamps/yellow lights?
My house is filled with yellow energy savers and lights, the problem is whenever I take a picture the yellow lights appear too orange and the person appears black, so I would like know a way in which I could take good pictures (maybe an app), the camera I use is from my phone, HTC Wildfire S, I can also use a NIKON digital camera (i don't remember the model no.)

I ordered a Nikon SB-400 speed-light flash unit about 2 days ago. I haven't heard anything back from Nikon about my order other than the order confirmation (invoice) e-mail. I'm really excited to receive this item, but would like to have a general idea of when to expect it to arrive. If any one has had an experience with the Nikon store and shipping experiences with them, please share.
How to Increase Magnification Ratio to 1: 4 for Nikon AF-S 105 f2.8 Micro?
Normally we have 1:1 magnification ratio for Nikon AF-S 105 f2.8 Micro lens.
Any idea how to improve magnification ratio from 1:1 to 1:4 for this lens? Which extension tube are used? And which brand? I need extension tube that enable TTL and AF work.
Aperture ring lock on Sigma 70-300mm lens?
I have a Sigma 70-300mm lens for Nikon. It is giving me an error which generally means that one does not have the aperture ring locked. I would love to lock the ring but I can't figure out how to. Does anyone here have this lens and have advice on how to fix it?

When you use the program exposure mode or the Shutter speed priority auto mode, the Diaphragm control ring must be set to the smallest F-stop (i.e.largest number). All Nikon AF/MF lenses have a safety button which should be moved to the lock position (fig2).
And on page one, fig2 is shown an aperture ring and its lock button.
I have the Nikon version of this lens. "All Nikon AF/MF lenses have a safety button which should be moved to the lock position (fig2)." I can't find either the aperture ring or safety button. How is it possible I can't find this component of my lens? I should note that I had this problem a few years back, remember finding a switch, switching it and the problem was solved. I really wish I remember how I did that…

I want a camera to use when i'm on holiday. I don't really know anything about cameras so please don't talk about things where i wouldnt have a clue what your talking about. I really don't want to spend much maybe 200ish and i know this is practically nothing but I don't have much money to spend on it.

Well, title basically says all.
I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 8, but no it won't read my camera's memory card. I just got back from a trip so it's a big disappointment on my part. My memory card is a Kingston SD4 8GB that came with my Nikon camera.
I already made sure it's not on Lock. When I put it in it doesn't read anything at all.
Added (1). I have a Dell Inspiron M5030, and I already tried visiting the website. I put in my service tag, but Windows 8 32bit isn't available in the BIOS List (Only options are Windows 7 32bit/64bit).
So i was bought a nikon l810 for my birthday on the 31st of january, it was from argos but not sure if i can return it? Not used it much, looked after it then I went to change the batteries and i put in old ones then suddenly the lens came halfway out about to turn on then it suddenly cut off, i put in brand new batteries and every time I turn it on the little on button lights up green for a few seconds, then nothing happens.
Can i bring my camera into warped tour?
The website says you can bring digital or disposable cameras but not proffesional ones. Mine is a nikon with the detachable lens and i don't know if it would be considered "professional". Has anyone tried this? Were you let in?
