Nikon V1 Picture Control?

The Nikon V1 has the option of Picture Control. However, it is greyed out. What settings do I need for it to be useable?

Added (1). To AWBoater, thanks for the help, but the problem still persists. Are there any settings that must be in use or similar?

Added (2). I'm stupid. Found out it was on -Auto Scene Selector-. I shouldn't be allowed to breed.

On my V1, the Picture Control option is greyed out when the mode dial is in the Motion Snapshot Mode (first position on the mode dial). If you turn the mode dial to the Still Image Mode (green camera icon on the dial), you should be able to access the Picture Control option.

One of the few complaints of the V1 is that the mode dial can easily change positions. Just putting the camera into a bag or even when grabbing it, the dial can change.

This was fixed in the V2, but other than this little annoying quirk, the camera is pretty good.
