Camera Phone advice - need both - no idea what to get?
I wanted to ask you what you think I should get for a camera or camera/phone that would be small enough to pocket and be able to take quality landscape photos when horseback riding for example that are able to be enlarged (most likely larger than 11 x 15) and still maintain high resolution. I need the camera also to x be able to take pics of my bakery cakes that I make. Any suggestions, as I'm not tech savvy at all. I don't want to buy too much camera but no limits either. I was worried that the low megapixels (under 3) in the camera phones wouldn't work for enlarging. Can't lug around a bulky professional one riding horses or too my job, and really need a new cell phone anyway.
Something important is speed - I have a nikon and a canon powershot, and they take way to long to take the picture and be ready to take another.
Can you buy nikon compatible receivers for the SU 800?
I have a SU 800 wireless transmitter and a SB600 flash. I'm looking for a cheap alternative so that I do not have to buy another Nikon flash. I have an old SB 24 and I was wondering if I could just put a receiver on that?
Would that be okay? To use a receiver on a SB 24 with a SU 800?
I have looked up receivers and only came across the MiniTTI and Flex by Pocketwizard. They show the usage of the SU 800, but on top of a MiniTTI or Flex. Is it possible to just buy a receiver and use it with the SU 800 to trigger the SB 24?
How to remove fungus from my nikon slr lens?
How to remove fungus from my nikon slr lens? The inside of the lens is very dirty and has fungus. How can i clean it from home? Or how much it will cost to clean the lens from shop in India?
Why haven't nikon or canon made their own camera phone?
It seems like a great product idea and i know a ton of people who would buy it. I think the reason alot of people don't get into photography is because their big fancy cameras seem intimidating. I feel as if it was on a phone itd be easier to learn and eventually the user would want to upgrade to an actual nikon or canon.
Added (1). Sorry i actually meant a mainstream phone such as a galaxy or an htc android to feature a high tech camera from either of those manufacturers

Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm. DSLR for a first-timer?
I've been looking at a Rebel but I've always liked Nikon… But at the same time, I don't know if I'm just going after a camera because I like the brand.
Basically, I'm looking for a DSLR that is user friendly. I'm looking into taking a photography course and for this, I'll be needing a camera of professional quality. I'm looking for one for shooting landscapes and macro (flowers, bugs, nature, etc) so an interchangeable lens would be splendid/a must. I'm looking to spend around $700 for the camera and am willing to pay for the lenses separately when my next cheque rolls around. I'm needing some suggestions as to the best brands and models suited to my desire and price range.
Can i use a Nikon SU 800 with other flashes?
I'm looking to find a cheap flash that will be compatible for my SU 800. I'm shooting with a sb 600 and SU 800 as my transmitter.
Are there any flashes that i can use that are cheap that will be compatible with my SU 800? I saw a Sigma EF-530 DG ST on craigslist. Could that be compatible?
What Nikon lens is better for outdoor senior pictures?
I'm going to be taking senior pictures for a senior soon. I have a 50mm and a 24-70 also. I'm looking to do close ups with blur backgrounds along with artistic shots with cool backgrounds… Some blurred and some not, some of them leaning on walls and such. Not sure what lens I should go with to have the best shoot with awesome shots. Thanks!
Added (1). I'm not a dirt bag like you are making me seem. I'm taking classes and I'm playing around. I have taken a lot of pictures messing around but not with these specific lenses. I'm taking a friends senior portraits and YES they know I don't do this as a profession. Just trying to learn and get some nice advice… So Thanks!
Added (2). But thank you to those who gave encouraging responses!
