Nikon D series technical issue?
I really love my Nikon. Seriously love it. However, it is battery operated and only takes lithium batteries (4 AA) which run out after about 10 pictures. I believe this is because I used to try using alkaline, but either way it's so pricey and irritating to handle. Does anybody have a solution to this other than rechargeable batteries? I don't have the paperwork with the warranty and it's a few years old. I KNOW I will want to be using it when the baby is born, and it is a favorite birthday gift of mine that I will not sell/trade.

Nikon 1J1 showing Lens Error: Contacts a Nikon-authorized service center?
I don't get how this happened. I didn't drop the camera or do anything to the lens. I had just finished filming a video when this message popped up. I was zooming in on something (gently as I always do) and the message just popped up and won't go away! I've tried removing the lens and leaning it, turning the camera off and back on and removing the battery and SD card. No matter what I do the message pops up every time I turn on the camera. Does anyone know why this popped up and how/if i can fix it at home? I bought this camera when they first came out so it was really expensive but I really don't have the money to have it repaired now.
I'm going to a One Direction/5SOS concert on Thursday. (Please don't judge me based on who I'm seeing. I get that not everyone likes One Direction but it's my music taste. Not yours.)
What should I bring besides posters? And what shouldn't I bring? It's from 7:00-11:30 and I'm thinking of bringing a professional camera (Nikon T3I). I looked at the official Lincoln Financial Field website and I didn't see any guidelines/rules for concerts, only football games. Any and all answers are greatly appreciated! (:
Added (1). Oops - not a Nikon T3I, a CANON T3I.
So about a week ago I left my brand new camera in the car got back in and me and my friends were sitting in the back seat with it I think one of us might have sat on it or something but I turned it on and it shows nothing but I still takes pictures and if I take out the ad rad and hook it up to my computer it shows the pictures fine. I'm considering getting it fixed but I don't want get the screen replaced and pay for it then after realize that it's still broken. Do you think that if it still takes picture that it will still work like new when I get it fixed? Also it's a Nikon l320
Trying to decide what DSLR to get?
I'm having a bit of difficulty. I thought I decided on the rebel t5i but I recently read a few reviews that say it's beginning to get outdated and that it's basically the same as its predecessor. That stresses me out a little bit. I mean, there are better and better cameras each year so I don't want to get anything too outdated. I read about another Canon (forget what model) and read something similar. So now I've started looking at Nikons. I like the sound of the D5300 but read that is best for "experienced shooters", which I'm not. I really want to become a good photographer and I want something I can grow into, however I don't want to go over my head. What do you think of the D5300? Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks a lot
Added (1). I work on manual. I know how to use my light meter, iso, aperture, etc.
Are there going to be any compatible fisheyes for the PXW-X180 when it comes out?
I'm looking into a new camera for my friend and he shoots action sports. A fisheye is hands down a necessity for the camera he buys. Is there going to be a high quality fisheye for this camera when it comes out? Should he consider just buying a DSLR and a good fisheye for that camera?
