Nikon SLR Cameras

I need a new camera.and help choosing one?

Ok so I want a camera that takes really good quality photos and is small enough to carry and pack. I already have a larger nikon but now that I'm 22 and my girlfriend and I are traveling to Europe a lot I need something small but still good quality.

While I always carry my digital SLR and at least four lenses with me when I travel, I also carry a Nikon 1 V3 with the FT-1 adapter so I can use my four lenses with the much smaller Nikon 1.

The V3 fits nicely in my day pack or brief case with two lenses.

There's a whole category of cameras that are small and can get good images, it is called mirrorless (and other things). Read about it here:

I would look for one that has a viewfinder, such as the Sony NEX-5T with its optional viewfinder.
