Distortion with ultra wide lenses?
I went to Best buy and bought a Tamron 10 to 24 ultra wide for my D7100, a more cost effective alternative to the Nikon version i was looking at
anyway, i like the pics i take with it although i do notice some distortion, like "stretching" at the widest angles
check out the attached pic as an example, the outer parts of the pic seem stretched in a way
its not a biggie to me, i kinda like the different way it makes the pics look
but i was wondering if this was common with ultra wide angle lenses?
NIKON 28-85MM F/3.5-4.5 MACRO LATE AUTOFOCUS LENS?
I was given a Nikon EM 35MM camera without lens and wanted to know if a nikon af nikkor 28-85 lens would work for it? I'm a newbie and just want to make sure.
Nikkor 50mm 1.8D manual focus on film camera?
I have a Nikon FG film camera and I need a prime lens for it. What comes to my mind is the 50mm 1.8D because it's relatively cheaper compared to those classic heavy vintage (and great btw) lenses.
My question is, is the manual focus of the 1.8D "fine" enough to be used on a full-manual focus camera? Thanks!

Good entry level DSLR which would take a 50mm Nikkor lens?

Ok so my film camera (Nikon FA) just broke - the shutter is all messed up and i figured I could just buy a new film camera for the price it would cost to fix the shutter. It was second hand from a relative (who hadn't used it in 20 years) and i had only used 2 rolls of film (haven't processed yet tho.) now, i was wondering if i should just go digital and buy a beginner DSLR or purchase another film camera? I already have a 50mm Nikkor (i don't know how to spell it) lens, so would it be compatible with any other Nikon camera? Or should i just buy a beginner DSLR which is compatible with the lens i already have and buy one of those lomography cameras to mess around with using film?
What's the difference between these 2 cameras?

Which fisheye lens is best for my camera?
Recently Purchased a Sony NEX FS-100 camera for use with my filming but I'm a little inexperienced with the riff-raff and technicalities of all of the lens qualities and such that comes with it all. Basically, I've got a 77mm AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm 1.4G Lens that I'm going to attach onto the Sony with an adapter. I'm simply looking for a fisheye lens to slot onto that but I can't seem to find one anywhere without it saying 'make sure it fits with this', and do you have the 'so-and-so' to go with it or 'you can't have "this" without "this"!', it all seems a bit of a struggle for such a simple request!
Price isn't much of an issue, though I've seen fisheye's reach as high as £1400 which is just ridiculous. Obviously, cheapest is best for me - I've seen them go for as low as £20 for the quality I'm looking for (but that goes back to the first paragraph. Apparently this particular one wouldn't fit my lens.) - as long as it has the 'fisheye' look, that's all I care about for now. Qualities and preferences will come later when I'm a little more experienced!
About rabbit ears mounting onto Fm2?
Sorry for the noob question, i have read info on the old nikkor lens and found out that my current ai-s lens do not have the R.ear or it could be missing i don't know.
Most importantly i want to know is, does my Fm2 needs it? Or its only for F2?

Nikon Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 Lens Mount Adapter?
I just bought a Nikon Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 lens thinking it would fit my nikon d5200, but it doesn't. What kind of lens adapter do I get that isn't crazy expensive or should I send it back and spend a little more for one that does fit?
