Is Tamron 18-200mm compatible lens with Nikon D5200?
I'm planning to buy 18-200mm Tamron lens for my Nikon D5200 I just wanted to know if its a good pick for my camera & wanted to know about the image quality of it from its users…
What is the difference between these lenses? - 1
What is the difference between these two lenses, if any? I mean shooting wise. Which type of photography are they best at shooting and would it be fine to own both or unnecessary?
AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR
I have a Nikon D7100, body only, and am off to buying a lens.
i shoot mostly portraits and landscapes.
If you have any lens suggestions, please do tell. I don't mind if it's DX or FX.
When i try to mount my Nikon 24-70 lens on my D600 I have noticed some resistance. It feels like there's some friction when I twist the lens. I tried mounting a tamron 70-200 vc but its pretty smooth, so its most likely that there's an issue with the lens. I was changing lenses often these last few days, maybe i damaged it. I haven't noticed this problem until now. The lens still functions btw. So what do you guys think it might be? Do you think that i need to send my lens for repairs?
Any advice is appreciated.
I recently got a nikon 1 j2 and my mum gave me some lenses from her nikon, the lenses are really old and I was wandering whether there was some kind of adapter I could put on the camera and then attach the lens to.
Some additional information about the lenses:
One of them is called the "Zoom-Nikkor 35~80mm f/4~f/5.6D" (I think that's what it says on the box)
another is called "NIkkor 35mm 1:28 575243" ( that's what it says on the actual lens)
the last one is called "Nikkor 135mm 1:28 940758" (again that's what was on the lens)
I really want to take some photos of planets and galaxys maybe but i'm not sure what equipment i need?
I have a nikon D5200 and a af-s nikkor 55-300mm 1:4.5-5.6GED lens but what other stuff would i need for my camera?
NIKKOR 50mm f1.8g or 35mm f1.8g for portrait photography?
I have nikon d5200 with 18-55mm lens. Now i want to buy prime lens for portrait and event photographs suggest me 50mm f1.8g or 35mm f1.8g. As my cam is a crop type sensor (DX mount) does 50mm f1.8g lens (FX mount) effect the photographs? If so, how. Suggest me with good 1, Thank you.
Nikon D7100 Best Lenses between the two? (NY Trip)?
I plan on going to NY (Manhattan) and plan on using a few different photography, Portrait (with background clear and blurred), and Landscape (Ground level (Sculptures) and sky-view (such as Top of the rock (Similar to empire state building.
I'm looking at two different lenses:
Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 DX AF-S G NIKKOR (2003-)
http://www.kenrockwell.com/...n/1755.htm
and
Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 FX AF-S G ED NIKKOR (2007-)
http://www.kenrockwell.com/...4-70mm.htm
I was told that both lenses are compatible with D7100. I don't care about the price, I just want to know which would be better out of the two (for my needed uses). One person recommended the FX (because I want to do Portrait and Landscape and the portrait would be better for this lens) lens I was just wondering since the DX lenses was built for the D7100 why wouldn't it be better?
I'm in need of a wide angle lens. Nikkor 24mm 1.4 or 35mm 1.4? I shoot mostly people, not one for landscapes. I have a 50 & 85mm already. Love prime lenses.
Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 or Nikkor 50mm f/1.8?
Using for general shots of people. Which one?
