I'm new to the SLR segment. Just bought Nikon D5300. I have two lenses- Nikkor 18-55 kit (VR) and Tamron 16-300.
I'm looking for macro options. I want to take 3:1 macro shots. Now, clearly, I'm out of budget already. So, I can't buy a dedicated macro lens. I need a cheap alternative. I've been considering the following options:
** Raynox DCR 250 snap on
** Kenko extension tubes set
** Bellows
** Reverse mounting of my existing zoom lens
** Double mount
Now, I don't know the exact capabilities and limitations of these. I'm gathering information over internet only. So, it'd be very helpful if you help me choose. Also any other option is welcome too.
Are Tamron lenses just as good as Nikon lenses?

Added (1). The 10-24mm lens from Nikon is double the price of tamrons 10-24mm lens. I'm new to photography so I don't know a whole lot about tamron vs Nikon.

Can autofocus feature be used if I mount Tamron 16-300 for Nikon on Nikon D3300?

I'm doing some video work, and I'm wondering which one of my lenses (nikon) will lead in terms of optic quality. I have the 90mm f2.8 tamron USD (more expensive version with internal focusing), 50mm f1.4 AF-D, 35mm f1.8 AF-S G (dx only). I'm shooting with a crop sensor body.
I'm after sharpness, minimal chromatic aberrations and minimal flares. Will the 90mm with the low dispersion elements have the best quality? Or will the newer, cheaper 35mm f1.8 have better image quality? Same goes with the 50mm, which one has the best optics in terms of sharpness, distortion, aberrations and flaring? I'm looking for responses from people who have had experience with these lenses.
Why does my 50mm take amazing closeups but blurry when any distance is added?
I have a brand new Nikon d7200 and a new nikkor 50 mm 1.8. Close ups are tack sharp. But add any distance they are blurry no matter the the fstop.
I will be taking some "mugshots" of my local High School Fall sports teams in a few days. They will be taken inside of the High Schools Gym. After past trials, I always have huge issues trying to take photos in the poor/weird gym lighting, They always end up extremely noisy and/or the color is really off. So, what are some suggested settings (ISO, WB, etc.) to use to get better quality photos? Also, should flash be used?
Equipment that I have: Nikon D5200, Nikon SB-700 Speedlight, Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm 3.5-5.6G lens.
I'm thinking about buying a Nikon d3300 with the 18-55mm lens that comes with it. My first question is, are the lens that come with it good for general photography and will they be able to capture good detail? Also i'm thinking about getting an extra lens later on, probably this one here:

Is this any good, or is the same quality as the one given with the camera? Because if it isn't that good i might save up for this one instead:

Buying cameras from store or online?
There a camera I want to buy, the Nikon D3300 and I have two options:
1, online which is $510 plus $50 delivery, total or $560
https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/nikon-d3300-dslr-af-s-dx-nikkor-18-55mm-f35-56g-vr-ii-lens-kit-black/
2, Physical store $600
http://www.camerahouse.com.au/products/DSLR/Nikon-D3300-w18-55mm-VRII-Lens-Red-Digital-SLR-Camera.aspx
There's a $40 difference which can buy me a lens filter. But what about warranty, I head Kogan does grey imports and does not have a Aus Nikon warranty. So is it worth buying in store or online?
Added (1). Also the store gives you more colors, red, grey, black. While only the black color is available online.
Nikkormat FT and lens compatibility?
I have a Nikkormat FT camera and wish to use it with my Nikon AF 50mm 1.4D lens. Is this lens compatible? Will it damage my lens? I'm interested in using the light meter on the camera as it is not in working condition.
