Mixing Nikon D3S with Canon 7D?

Has anyone tried mixing the two at an event. I know the nikon shoots 720p and canon shoots 1080p. I wonder if I uprez the 720p to 1080p, if it would make eventhing looking fine… I'm doing this for a wedding shoot.

Changing shutter speed on Nikon D200?

I accidentally pushed a button on the right hand side (while holding the camera) of the lens, and I think it changed the shutter speed to where it stays open for longer and i have NO idea how to fix it and really need help.

What makes the Nikon D3100 an entry level model while the D300, D3, etc are so great? - 1

I'm looking at the cameras, and I can't figure out why a camera with less mega-pixels is lower end camera. The D3100 has 14.2, the D300 and the D3 have 12.3. I understand there are other things involved, but unfortunately I don't know what (Sorry, I'm more of a film person… ). Could someone explain why it is exactly that this is still an "entry-level" camera? I'm looking to get a good DSLR, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg just for bells and whistles that I'm not sure I'll use.

What is the fastest practical CF card write speed for a Nikon D700?

I have a Nikon D700 and am wondering at what, if any, write speed I would be wasting my money on a faster CF card. I hope that makes sense. What I mean is that, if the D700 is only capable of writing to a CF memory card at a maximum rate of 45 MB/second, it doesn't make sense for me to spend a premium on a 60 MB/second CF card. If there's a cap on the D700's write speed regardless of storage medium, what is that cap?

Choice of Camera For Food Photography & Cook Book Publication?

I'm doing a cook book project that requires the purchase of new camera. I'm not sure whether to use film or digital. My budget allows for a Nikon D700 or Mamiya RZ 6 professional. One of my all time favorite cook book publications was done with film. But I see good work out there, done with both formats. I seem to have located a reasonable laboratory for the film development and the quality is great. Actually I don't mind the additional film development costs at all. I should also mention that I will be working with continuous lighting rather than studio strobes. The publication requires about 65 recipes and 25 additional action shots. I will continue my work in this field and of course keep the cameras, so this is for the long run. Photographer, I'd sincerely would appreciate your thoughts.

Wedding Photography: Nikon Cameras?

As someone who is getting into the wedding photography business I'm trying to decide which second camera I should purchase (I currently own the Nikon D5000). My question is: do I just get a second D5000 camera, since it's suited me well thus far, or is it worth investing in the more expensive D300s or D90 camera? Part of me thinks I should get a real "semi-professional camera" if I want to be be in the business, but I'm just not clear on what the real advantage is to those cameras since I've been really happy with the D5000.
