I need some advice on what software I should buy for editing digital photographs?
I'm not a professional; I have a Nikon D800 and shoot Raw. I don't shoot hundreds of pictures at a time. Cost is not particularly an issue, but don't want to waste money either.

Nikon wide angle lens suggestions?
I'm looking for a wide-angle lens for my Nikon D300. I'm torn between a fast prime, such as the 24mm f/2.8D and a newer 18-55mm VR zoom. I'm very much a fan of the sharpness, clarity and good low-light performance one can get from a prime. However, I'm largely used to shooting with a D60 and/or D200.In the past year I've upgraded to a D300 and all I've shot with was a 50mm f/1.8. The first DSLR I had (D60) came with the 18-55mm VR in a kit. At the time, I generally liked the lens, but I remember having very little freedom to crop my images, without noticing a significant loss of sharpness. I sold that to get my D200 almost two years ago.
I'd like to get a wider lens, preferably something in Nikon's D or G series. I can't afford a fast, professional zoom such as the 24-70 f/2.8 or 17-55 f/2.8. I understand the 18-55mm would be much more versatile, but I've come to be somewhat of a nitpicker for great clarity and sharpness straight out of camera, has anyone used this lens with the D300? I only base my experiences on using it with a D60 with (somewhat) poorer ISO performance than the D300.

Does a nikon d100 have a usb port?

Is disappointment in the D600 driving up the price of used D700s?
I think people who waited for an affordable full frame camera were hoping for a step up from the D700 - not a D7000 with an FX sensor.
What are your thoughts?
Will Nikon come out with an FX that falls between the D700 and D800 or are we supposed to flick to the D600?

Advice on cameras for a photojournalist?
I'm a sophomore in college, majoring in photojournalism. My goal is to eventually become a sports photographer and I know I'll need to get like a Nikon D700 one day but right now I can't afford that. So I've been looking at entry-level cameras and I was wondering if a Nikon D5100 would suffice? I'm currently just doing regular photojournalism along with some sports. Can a Nikon D5100 work well out on the field and in the gym? Any recommendations on other cameras in the price range of the D5100?

What is the name of the kit lens for the Nikon D800?
What is the name of the kit lens for the Nikon D800?

Okay, I wanted to know which of these two is the best for over-all photos. I do not care at all about video, since I know the D700 has no video. My main thing when it comes to photos is noise performance and image quality. Also I want a Full Frame camera. I shoot mostly landscapes. Sometimes people and animals (always with the rules of 3rds). I don't plan to buy any of these cameras anytime soon, since I'm still learning photography. But I just want to keep my eyes open and learn about these pro-level camera, for when the time comes to up-grade.
P.S.
Please keep your comments and answers on topic.

How to turn on AF51 on a Nikon D800?
My father was wondering how to turn on the AF51 (51points or something) on the Nikon D800. I have no clue of what he is talking about because I don't know anything about cameras lol. So I was hoping that someone can help me out here with it.

High mega pixels = worst noise performance?
So I was looking up some information, and I was reading up on the Nikon D800's 36 MP. And it was said on this video that one of the bad things about having so many MP is that noise performance suffers… Is this true?
