Wildlife photography, some doubts?
Actually I wad thinking of buying a camera body Nikon d800 or mark iii, but I'm too confused, gone through many reviews but yet confused for the focusing speed of both the cameras but one thing is bugging me that nikon d800 would give me a good quality of hardcopy even after cropping but will i get the same using markiii. Which would be best in comparison "d800 or markiii".

Canon EOS Rebel T3 or Nikon D300?
Hi I'm purchasing a new DSLR camera soon and am torn between the Canon EOS Rebel T3 and the Nikon D3100. Any pros/cons on them? I've read reviews and see video/photo demos, and they both look pretty good quality.

How to get rid of the vignette on my camera?
I have recently purchased a nikon D800e and I'm shooting with a Nikon DX 18-200mm f3.5/5.6 lens.
When I shoot my photographs automatically have a circular black vignette around them. Why is this caused and how can i get rid of it?

Best way to create large hi-Res AO size prints?
I want to create some very large (AO size or larger) (33" x 46"?) prints of interiors and possibly from a trip to Egypt.
The two ways I have thought are -
1. Nikon D800 with high quality lens. (Probably turning the camera through 90 degrees and creating a series of photos that can be 'stitched' in software to make very high res.panoramic shots)
2. Large format 5" x 4" camera with a wide angle lens around 90mm. Obviously there's then the cost of getting the transparencies scanned and digitized.
If I go for option 1 -
what focal length to use to take each photo to make the panoramas? 35 - 50mm?
Best quality lens to use?
If I go for option 2 -
How much $ for a reasonably good 5 x 4 camera and lens?
How much $ to get each transparency scanned and digitised? Would it be worth buying a scanner?
I have considerable funds and I have thought about medium format but the cost is astronomical.

For example - I take 10 shots of the same person and show them those shots on my camera - is there a way that I can identify which one they've chosen and then see that same notification once I transfer to my computer?

Why does my nikon d300 take forever to take pictures when the flash is not on?

My MacBook Pro doesn't recognize my Nikon D300?
I own a 2008 model of the Macbook Pro and it does not recognize my Nikon D300 camera when I plug it in, and I do not know why.
I had this laptop while in my 2 years of college and never had this problem, i never used actual card readers I was always able to plug the USB cable into my laptop and it would open it up just like any USB you plug in. Recently I tried to plug it in, after not doing so for a while and it won't open or recognize that anything is even plugged in. No lights fash, it doesn't attempt to open my camera file. If anybody has this issue and solved it please let me know, card readers for Compact Flash are not cheap so I'd like to fix this issue as soon as possible.

Will this gem mount hold my new telescope well?
I just bought the Orion Apex 127mm MAK. It will fit on my photo tripod, but I do want to do some astrophotography so would want an eq mount. The below eq tripod is in my budget range but it says a payload of 11 lbs excluding the counter weight. The telescope is 8.23 lbs and the camera I'll be using is the nikon d300.Is the mount going to hold everything okay? (This is my first telescope hence all the questions)

Added (1). Edit: It says it excludes the weight so does that mean its 11 pound payload doesn't include the weights so it'd be fine? Just unsure of their wording

Why Nikon D700 12.1MP price around 3K?
It has 12mp but why it cost to much?

Is there much difference between the orion apex 90mm telescope and the 105?
I'm buying a telescope and going to also mount my Nikon d300 on it from time to time. The difference in price between the two is $60 so I'm wondering if going from 3.5" to 4" is going to increase the light gathering power to warrant the extra money.
