F1.4 or f1.8 lens for Nikon D5000?
I have a Nikon D5000 and would like to get a new lens with excellent depth of field. I would like to spend less than $200 if possible. If there aren't any for that price range, then list the cheapest ones.
I already have a 18-55mm AF VR and 55-200mm AF VR
Does Nikon make a 55mm or 50mm f1.4 or f1.8? Or what similar lens can I get for my D5000? Auto focus if possible.

My Nikon d90 Dslr has a cross like shape dot on a image?
I have a Nikon d90 that's showed a cross like dot on one of my pictures I took. I zoomed in on the image to the max. It looks like a tiny white dot from far but when I zoom all the way in it appears as a tiny cross. This has also happen to me on my d80 that I had before. Here is a link to the image.
Which one is better a Nikon camera or a Canon?
I want to get a camera and I have been looking at the Nikon D5000 and canons, which one is better? I want to be able to take clean crisp pictures.
Added (1). I want to be a able to take pictures of city lights… Things that are in action… I have only looked at the nikon… But which canons are good? I know they all are but which one specifically?
Which nikon camera should I ask for for Christmas?

Well i was on the nikon site, and it seems as if its the cheapest on there and i don't have enough money for the d90, which i want. Does anyone know of a good nikon dslr camera thats affordable? Ranging 200-400 ish? If not nikon then a cannon, but prefferable a nikon please. And please just tell me a series number that goes cheap, because my parents usually don't let me buy online.
Best Zoom Lens for Sporting Events?
We're getting a camera for my mom for Christmas and she wants to be able to take pictures from stands and zoom into a players face or just get a picture close to the players. If it helps, we're getting the Nikon D3100.
Camera quality similar to Canon XSi?
I'm looking for a camera with similar specs to the Canon EOS Rebel XSi but for a little cheaper and maybe not so advanced. Any suggestions? I prefer Nikon and Canon brands.
The quality of the photos should come out to look SIMILAR like the XSi.
P.S. I was taking the Canon G12 into consideration, but it isn't much of an upgrade from the G11. I also figured that I might as well get a Nikon D40 instead since it's only thirty bucks more than the G12. But I'm not a camera expert and so I was hoping you guys could help me out.

Well, folks I've run into a brick wall, which in case you are wondering, yes it does hurt, but anyways, my problem is with sunsets. I have a Nikon D3100, today I was trying to photograph a BEAUTIFUL sunset, but I couldn't catch the color, instead I got a white back round and a lot of detail in the fore and mid ground. There was a bright pink in the clouds as the sun was setting, now to a degree the color is still there, but I had too much white in the back round so it kinda drowned out the color. ANYWAYS, its Nikon D3100, if you have any suggestions please fill me in.
