My Nikon d90 Dslr has a cross like shape dot on a image?
I have a Nikon d90 that's showed a cross like dot on one of my pictures I took. I zoomed in on the image to the max. It looks like a tiny white dot from far but when I zoom all the way in it appears as a tiny cross. This has also happen to me on my d80 that I had before. Here is a link to the image.

This may be a sparkle for a sun reflection, there are special effect lenses that you can buy to give this effect deliberately.
May also be a speck of dust on the lense.
This is a 'hot pixel' and it shows like a cross due to Bayer interpolation. These are usually seen on higher ISO's and long exposures. Usually they are colored but sometimes may appear white too.
If they are always present in many of your photos in the same spot, even at low ISO's then you should take your camera to the authorized service center with some examples of the photos on the memory card with this problem.
If they occur rarely, just remove them using whatever image editing program that you use.
