Reverse lens using Nissin Di622 Mark II?

I use Nikon D5000. Just bought Nissin Di622 Mark II speedlight. Before, I used built in flash to shoot macro on reverse lens technique. I just need to set the built in flash to manual mode. Everything OK. But, when I used Di622, the camera detected that the the speedlight was in TTL mode even if I already set the Di622 to manual. When using reverse lens, if the speedlight in TTL mode, the camera unable to shoot.
Anyone has experience with reverse lens technique using Nissin Di622 Mark II, please help.

Added (1). My camera is already in manual mode.

How to focus on part of a picture?

This is an example.
http://www.wisemanhousechocolates.com/february-valentines.html

Like in this picture, I also want to take pictures of chocolates, but I only want one of the chocolates or just the center to be in focus. I have gotten close and used the highest aperture or the one with the lowest number ie.f4. I have tried a lot of different things but to no avail. I'm not sure what else to do. I would like how the front of the plate and the other chocolates are a bit out of focus. I have a Nikon D3000 with a 18-55mm lens.

Autofocus problems with Nikon Nikkor 50mm f1.4 D lens?

I recently upgraded from a Nikkor 50mm f1.8 lens to the 50mm f1.4.
I used it properly for the first time, on AF-C setting, set to 3D tracking. However, every single one of my photos is slightly out of focus.
I tested that it wasn't my camera itself (Nikon D90) by putting the 50mm f1.8 back on it, and that worked fine.
Is this a common concern with this lens? I.e. Should I exchange or return it?

Added (1). In answer to the questions about 1.4 vs 1.8 - I shoot mostly live music photography, so ANY more light that it let in, the better. I also have 2 35mm SLRs and (albeit just down to laziness) I now keep my 1.8 for them.

I'm using single spot focus, and aperture priority mode. I do know what I'm doing with a camera.

The problem is not a lack of sharpness in the edges, because even when using the centre focus point it is out of focus. I did also try with AF-S and the result was no different.

I don't currently have any filter on the lens either.

Nikon D7000 Panoramic photography?

Ok let me start by saying I'm a Journalism Student w/minor in photojournalism. I know from reading other post I will get a few dinks that will comment "read your manual." This question is for the Nikon DSLR users / professionals out there.

I recently bought the new Nikon D7000 camera I upgraded from the D60. Now I knew a lot about my D60, but upgrading to the D7000 has blown my mind. The features / modes blow the D60 out of the water, and on the same note since there are so many features I'm a little lost at the same time.

I'm trying to figure out how to shoot in Panoramic. I'm not even sure this is possible I have been playing with the camera, and still coming up blank. I have gone through the manual looking for anything that even mentions it, and nothing. Is there anyone out there that has shot in Panoramic mode with a D7000 that can help me out.

Which DSLR camera, beginner?

I'm a beginner photographer and I'm interested in portrait, landscape, macro and simply spontaneous photography. I also like recording but that isn't as important as photos.
I have narrowed my search down to these three:
Sony α390

Nikon D5000

Nikon D3000

Which one would be the best for me? Any others you would like to recommend?
I have a budget of $700 USD

Photographing my first wedding?

I'm photographing my first wedding for a couple who have a small budget and asked me to do it for little little money. They are aware that i've not done a wedding and appreciate that I'm willing to do it for such a small amount.

I currently have a Nikon D3000. My question is should I rent a different camera, leaning towards a D90 and 2 lenses, or rent 2 lenses for my D3000? I'm not worried about making a profit, i'm worried about getting good pictures and have a good experience.

Please be nice… I know this is a lot to handle.

Photographing first wedding?

Here's the deal. I've been interested in photography and doing shoots for friends and family. I'm learning a lot and every shoot I do, I know I'm getting better and better. I should probably charge for what I do and the time I spend editing the pictures.

I was asked to do a wedding for a friend of a friend. They are working with a small budget and it was bascially me photograph there wedding for $100 or not have a photographer at all. I agreed so I could have the photos for my portfolio and I could use the learning experience.

I currently have a nikon d3000. I have a 50 mm 1.8 lens, the lens that comes with the camera, and 18-55mm lens.

My actual question is… Because i'm not worried about actually making a profit, rather getting good pictures to have for my portfolio, should I rent a different camera… Leaning towards the d90 and rent 2 lenses or should I rent lenses for my d3000. I know that the d3000 isn't such a good camera but I don't really know which way to go!

Also, Please don't say anything discouraging. I get that a lot on here. I know that i'm inexperienced and I shouldn't be shooting a wedding. They are aware of what I know and don't know. They appreciate that i've agreed to do it for such a small amount of money. So if you feel like you are going to say something rude or something that will hurt my feelings, but don't answer the question.
