Today, i purchased a nikon d3100 from ebay.in.while making the payment i got the error called " request timed out ", even i didn't get any purchase order too. ( i made the payment through the hdfc credit card for 6 month EMI ) I don't know whether the order is placed or not. But the credit card got charged for Rs.32082.50, ( i spoke to hdfc credit card care, and they told me the payment is sent to Ebay ) could you please let me know is the order is placed or not.right now i'm helpless, if the order is not place please tell me what can i do?
PS: Once i made a payment i got message from hdfc that tells the payment send to ebay reff id is " EBAY342306M "

I want to take off the screen off like when you take a picture it shows up on the screen right after you take the picture. How do you take the picture without it coming on the screen by itself
Best USED Entry Level DSLR for 350$?
I'm looking for the BEST entry level DSLR for 350$. Can anyone refer me to a DSLR that is about that pricing, used? I have in mind the Canon Rebel XS, and Nikon D40x. But I believe the D40x is a bit outdated.
Help comparing the Nikon D90 and D3100?
I'm buying my first DSLR and have read the comparison sheets on different websites for these two cameras. Both the D90 and D3100 look like great cameras. I don't know enough about photography to really know the difference. The 3100 has higher megapixels, is lighter and is newer. I can't figure out why it is so much cheaper than the D90? At Costco I can get the D90 body with the two lenses, case, etc for $1279. The D3100 body with the two lenses, case, etc. Is around $729.Is the D90 really that much better? Can you explain to me in layman's terms why because reading the reviews, etc I don't see why.
Nikon Camera Lens Help. Which to Buy?
So I have the Nikon D3000 and my brother recently asked me to photograph his Lacrosse games. My lens right now doesn't get that much zoom. I don't want a super big lens like like pro NFL Photographers use. I would like one with a price under $500. Any opinions? I would really like to get nice quality pictures too. Thanks. If $500 isn't enough for a lens that I want just tell me.
Do all Nikon's use battery packs?
I was looking to getting a Nikon, but it says that the Nikon D3100 and D5000 both use battery packs, are they really worth the trouble? Will I not be able to use my own batteries if the pack happens to go dead?

Tamron lenses for dslr.is it auto focus?
I have here a tamron AF55-200mm f/4-5.6 ld macro lens, i'm aware that the AF stands for autofocus. But where i use it on my nikon dslr (d3100) it doesn't auto focus at all in any light or any setting, looking at pictures and reviews online i can see that the lens is auto focus and has a buton on it to switch between AF and M focus. But mine doesn't have this button. Have i been given the wrong lens? Or am i missing something?

I just recently bought a Nikon D3000 and I'm not at all an experienced photographer. I do a little bit of band photography and I like to take pictures of nature and such but I'm looking for some inexpensive lenses. Any ideas? Brands, sites, types of lenses etc are appreciated.
