How to fix brightness in long exposure photography shots?
Hi, I'm just beginning to experiment with long exposures, and I need a little bit of help
I went out to try to get some misty waves (an effect I've always loved) and after taking a few shots I realized they were all super bright
I went out on a really overcast and dark day, had the shutter speed set to bulb, and aperture at the smallest setting I could go (somewhere in the 20s I think)
I even set the iso to the lowest settig possible (100)
What else can I do? I know I should get a filter, but
A. What kind would you recommend (for Nikon D60)
And B. Is there anything else I can do in the meantime?

Costco t2i bundle vs Nikon d5100?
I'm torn between an amazing t2i costco bundle that includes everything for $949.99 and the new nikon d5100 with 18-55mm lens from Amazon for $880.95. I can't resist the the brilliant canon bundle but then again the nikon shows a lot of promise with 4 fps and great video mode.
Any suggestions to make this choice less painful?
Will Flash Activated Slave work?
Okay. I'm currently doing portraits with a Nikon SB-600, a shoot-through umbrella, and a Nikon SU-800. I want to get some monolights (Flashpoint 620m), and use the flash activated slave. My Nikon d50 doesn't support PC Sync. Will this work? Are these reliable monolights?
Nikon d40 has an error saying connecting to pc when shooting and will not clear?
It freezes when shooting and says connecting to pc but there's not a computer in site. Anyone know how to fix it or clear it?
Added (1). It will not reset as soon as you turn it on it goes directly to the screen "connecting to pc"

Hello about a week ago I brought my very first SLR camera I chose the Nikon D3100 as this is suppose to be a good DSLR I was taking some night photos of the full moon last night this is what I got is this lens flare if so is it a good thing or a bad thing if good is this a good lens flare Just need somebody that knows to tell me what this is or could be thanks in advance
My fisheye lenses won't let me focus?
I try to focus and it won't let me… I have a nikon d3100.
or it wil focus but won't let me take the picture.
Added (1). They said that they ARE compatible with my camera.
Added (2). The company that made them said they are compatible. And it doesn't let me manually focus.

I have a Nikon D40 and I was just in the my house and I found A TON of camera equipment. Among it I found Quantaray camera lenses, a Quantaray QTB-9500A Flash, lenses that work on a Canon EOS 650 and lenses that work on a Minolta Maxxum 3xi. Please tell me these can work on my Nikon D40! This would make my life, so quickly!
