What about the Nikon D7000?

Okay so here is the thing I'm between a canon 7D or a Nikon D7000, I have already asked a Nikon or Canon type question and that didn't help much, I still ache for both. So now I asked them as two separate questions. What do you think about the Nikon D7000? Good things? Bad?

Nikon d3000 and d5000?

I know there's a difference between the 2's sensors, but whenever I see all of my friends with the d3000 upload their photos, the tones always appear to look like they are orange-ish and more vibrant.
when it comes to my d5000, the tones are more eh, and not as vibrant. Is this the difference in sensors?

Uploading from a D3100?

I have recently purchased my first dslr a Nikon D3100. When uploading photos to my computer it only shows A, S and ISO used. Is it possible to have details such as zoom length, WB etc. From the more detailed screen on the camera? If so how? I'm trying to compare shots using different features and having all the info on the computer would make it much easier.

Best memory card for d5000 nikon camera?

I'm going to be filming a lot this summer and I need a big memory card to use so that I don't have to always worry about running out of space and having to upload it on my computer.

I was thinking about getting a 32 BG memory card but do you know how much video it holds on a nikon? And also what would be the best brand to work for my camera?

I'm willing to spend up to $100 to $110 for this

Would a lens from my Nikon N65 mount on a Nikon D3000?

I have an old analog N65 and wanted to upgrade to digital using the same lens.
The lens is Quantaray for Nikon AF 28-90mm 1:35-5.6 Macro.

Is a camera safe if you don't turn it off while changing your lens? Nikon d7000?

Someone was checking my cam removing the lens a couple of times without even turning it off.

Lens Compatibility with Close-Up Macro Filter?

I have a Nikon D7000 with a Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II DX ED AF-S Zoom Lens. I was thinking about purchasing a 1 +1 +2 +4 +10 Close-Up Macro Filter Set. I've never used a macro filter before so I'm not sure if they are compatible with my lens. So, will my lens support a macro filter? If not, why? If so, are macro filters useful or does the camera lens do a good enough job without needing additional magnification? Note - I like doing macro photography (flowers, insects, etc.). Any insight will be helpful. Thanking you in advance for your time.

Nifty Fifty Lenses for the D90?

I'm desperately wanting to purchase a "nifty fifty" for my Nikon D90 and have been doing lots of research on line about different lenses but tend to get really confused about the terminology. The lenses I'm looking at are:

Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF
Nikon 50mm f/1.8G AF-S (to be released in June)
Nikon 50mm f/1.4G AF-S

I'm far from a professional photographer and just want to be able to take great close-ups of my children with the blurry (bokeh) background).

I appreciate any input!
