Nifty Fifty Lenses for the D90?

Kimberly
Kimberly

I'm desperately wanting to purchase a "nifty fifty" for my Nikon D90 and have been doing lots of research on line about different lenses but tend to get really confused about the terminology. The lenses I'm looking at are:

Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF
Nikon 50mm f/1.8G AF-S (to be released in June)
Nikon 50mm f/1.4G AF-S

I'm far from a professional photographer and just want to be able to take great close-ups of my children with the blurry (bokeh) background).

I appreciate any input!

If you are wanting "close-up" shots of your children, then use a macro lens…

you get better close-up shots and the bokeh you desperately covet…

and you can use it for other projects too…

Nothing wrong with the first one. What a.few weeks and see a lot of those pop up used when people buy the new.lens
