Would a nikon d3100 lens work with a cannon rebel t2i camera?

Well my friend was wondering because he lives far away and i have the lens so i'm doing research i know they're completely different manufacturers but you never know…

Lens compatibility are based on the lens mount that you have.

A nikon lens have a nikon mount and will not fit into a canon camera body.

You can buy a Nikon to Canon mount adaptor in order to use your nikon lens on the canon body.

The answer is no. Adapters are not going to help, they cost entirely too much and you can't use half the features of the lens or camera even if you do use one.

Canon for Canon, Nikon for Nikon. Pretty simple.
