I found these two Bee Hawk Moths mating in my backyard. What species are they?

I was just smelling our lilac bush in our backyard when I heard this buzzing noise, I looked down to find two bee hawk moths mating. I had no idea what they were at first, they just looked like a pair of BEE'S! I looked closer and saw their wings and moth-like antennae's, and knew right away they were probably a type of imitation moth. Ran inside, grabbed my camera and took pictures.
I live in northern Ontario, Canada. Thunder Bay is my city, to be exact. It is june 11 2011 and just saw these two attemptin' to make lil babies.
I read up that the broad-bordered Bee Hawk moth and the Narrow-bordered Bee hawk moths are native to England/Australia. But this Bee hawk moth was neither of the two. I can't seem to find its specific species on the internet anywhere, can someone help me out? This is quite interesting, and are they even supposed to be found in Northern Ontario, Canada?

Its the red on the very bottom tips of their wings that I haven't seen in any other bee hawk moth. Very beautiful moths!

What are the BEST COMPACT DIGITAL CAMERAS out there?

I need a compact digital camera, as I currently only own a Nikon D3000 DSLR, which is a great camera, but its not convenient for taking around everywhere with me.

I have no budget, and I'd like an all round good camera which has
-decent battery life
-good features on the camera
-produces clear, crisp images (good lens quality)
-consistant in the quality of the images (does not blur easily + works in all conditions e.g dark, light, indoors, outdoors etc)

please give me some good suggestions, tried and tested if possible!

Best type of 50mm lens for a D90?

I'm buying a Nikon d90 body in the next few weeks and would like to start of shooting live music with a Nikkor 50mm lens, i want to get a 1.4 for those low light situations but on ebay there's a few different types of Nikkor 50mm lenses

Eg

Nikon Nikkor AF 50mm 50 f/1.4 D

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 G

So i'm guessing one is a older model and one newer? What one would you guys suggest for a d90?

Good 50mm AF lens for my D3100?

I Really like the 50mm NIKKOR f/1.8 or whatever from nikon but i heard it won't AF with my D3100.
are there any low f/stop 50mm lenes that will AUTOFOCUS with my camera?

What next lens should I purchase?

I have Nikon D3100, and I have 85mm macro, 55-200mm, and the kit lens. I'm trying to decide what lens to get next. Would it be worth it buying a 70-300mm? Since I already have 55-200mm. I like photographing nature, wildlife, ect.So, what should be my next lens? A friend of mine mentioned 35mm 1.4. Please help, thanks.

My Nikon D40 won't take close up pictures with a 18-55mm lens?

It won't take close up pictures it just focuses on the background not the foreground. I'm currently using a 18-55 mm lens. I don't know if it's a setting I put it on or that the lens is broken- It's been broken in the past and I had to pay to have it fixed.

I would like to use an old t-mount lens on my Nikon DSLR, is it possible?

I have a Nikon D3000 which uses the F mount bayonet lenses.
My father-in-law has many old lenses with a 42mm t-mount and I would love to use some of them with my Nikon.
I've heard of mount adaptor and have done some searching on Google but I have drawn blanks.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get an adaptor for this particular need? If so, where do I get them from?
