Looking for a Neutral Density Filter?
I'm looking for a Neutral Density Filter (and) for my Nikon D3100 (18-55mm & 55-200mm lenses). The diameter is ø 52mm on both lenses. I would like to have 2 and filters. One 4-Stop & one 6-Stop - I don't know how to see what stop the filters are. For example: does Hoya ND8 mean a 8-Stop and filter?
Camera safe in Rio de Janeiro?
Hi, I'm going to Rio de Janeiro (staying in Ipanema) next week. I have a pretty nice camera (Nikon D40 SLR) and am planning on using it a ton, so telling me to not take pictures isn't an option haha. Anyway, how should I carry it around that would lower the risk of having it stolen?

Photoshop raw plug-in not working?
I have a Nikon D5000 and I'm starting to shoot in raw but I have photoshop cs2 and have downloaded the 3.7 update for raw plug-in but I still can't open raw images in photoshop. How can I get it to work?
If it will never work then please recommend some software that I could use to edit raw images but it as to be free.
Will My Pentax Lenses Fit on My Nikon?
I recently came across 3 Pentax lenses. I have an SMC Pentax-M 1:1.7 50 mm lens, a Sears Multicoated 1:3.5-4.5 Macro lens, and a 1:2.8f=28mm Automatic Diaphragm Wide Angle LENS.
I'd like to know which type of adapter or mount that is needed to fit these onto my Nikon D3000.

I'm having a nikon D3000 with 18-55mm lens kit. I want to buy a lens hood but i have a very little idea about it.
So my questions is as follows.
1. Which lens hood is better the conical petal shaped or the circular lens hood
2. What is the difference in image when used with these two lens hoods
3. What are the pro and cons of these two lens hood
4. Can I invest in one lens hood to fit these kinds of lens AF-S nikkor 50mm f/1.4g and AF-S DX Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G VR
5. (most important) what is it that we have to look when we purchase a lens hood?
