Will My Pentax Lenses Fit on My Nikon?

I recently came across 3 Pentax lenses. I have an SMC Pentax-M 1:1.7 50 mm lens, a Sears Multicoated 1:3.5-4.5 Macro lens, and a 1:2.8f=28mm Automatic Diaphragm Wide Angle LENS.

I'd like to know which type of adapter or mount that is needed to fit these onto my Nikon D3000.

I really appreciate everyone's help.

I'm afraid not, at least they won't focus on infinity if you manage to get them to fit with an adapter.

Nikon has the longest lens mount to sensor distance of any DSLR, this dimension is super critical, adapters will only make this dimension longer. The upshot is no lens other than Nikon will focus on Infinity.

You can do it the other way around and fit Nikon lenses to a Pentax DSLR with an adapter.

There isn't an adapter made to mount a Pentax "K" mount lens to a Nikon DSLR body. If, however, your Pentax lenses are the older M42 screw-mount lenses then you're in luck. Its easy to find an M42 to Nikon adapter. Just do a web search.

In my opinion you'd be better off selling the Pentax lenses and using the money to buy Nikon lenses.
