Will a Phoenix 100mm AF Macro for Nikon AF
work with my Nikon D5000?

You have to ask if the lens has an auto-focus motor in it and has a Nikon mount. If it does, then yes, it will work
The fact that it is a macro lens, auto-focus is really not necessary

For macro work you want to manually focus most of the time anyway. It will not auto focus on your camera for use for any other shooting.
