Best older 35mm camera under $100?
Well I already have a digital set-up, I have a Nikon D7000 and a D3100 with Nikon lenses.
So I've been interested in 35mm photography lately. I know it's a more intimate experience with the camera, and you get to control everything about the photo, and I love that!
At the moment, I don't want to spend more than $100-120 on a camera with a lens. I was looking at the Pentax K1000, is that a good one? Any other good ones?

What type of backpack should i use for my camera gear?
So i have a Nikon D80 with MB-D80 Battery Grip; 70-300mm f/4 lens; 50mm f/1.8 lens; 18-70mm f/3.5 lens; a SLIK U8000 tripod; and a LowePro Toploader 75AW shoulder bag. I'm looking for a Camera Backpack (with dividers if possible) which is all proof (rainproof, waterproof, dustproof). I prefer a backpack so its good onto my back and not just on my shoulder. Its ok if its not LowePro. What's your suggestion and advice? Its ok if the Tripod can't fit in the bag or has a side mount on the backpack.

This is my Nikkor lens size but will it fit my Nikkor? Its the 18-55mm that came with my Nikon D3100. Thanks!
Added (1). Fhotoace: What do you mean by thread size or whatever?

For my birthday i'm going to get a camera and i have four options:
Canon EOS Rebel XS SLR Digital Camera (Black) with 18-55mm IS Lens Kit- $479
Nikon D3000 SLR Digital Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens- $449
Sony Alpha A390 Digital SLR with 18-55mm Lens- $499
Nikon D5000 Digital SLR Camera Kit with 18-55mm VR Lens - $499
now the one i really have my heart set on it the nikon d5000, but at b&h photo is says that its discontinued, and i would have to buy it used. I'm totally fine with that, because its a cheaper price. But i just don't know if they'll have it at b&h in new york city (thats where ill be buying it) or if i have to order it online.
if i decide not to get the nikon d5000, does anyone know which camera is best quality?

How should i spend $500-1k on equipment (nikon)?
I currently have a D90 with a 60mm 2.8 Af-D and my trusty tripod but thats about it. I would be interested in getting a flash and a wide lens but thats about all i have on my list. I mainly do macro/still life but i'm getting into portrait photography which is why i'm looking to buy more equipment.
Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated

I've been looking for a dslr camera now for a while and the main ones i've been lookin at are Nikon D3000, Nikon D3100, Nikon D5000, and Canon T3. I mostly do portrait photography and i want a nice sharp, focused picture! The Nikon d3000 is more in my price range then the Nikon D3100, but i find the people i know who have the D3000 their pictures are kind of dull and not that professional looking. While the D5000 is very professional looking in my opinion though the price is not that good for someone on minimal budget! I think the T3 takes great pictures but i've been told bad expierences with Canon cameras. I would like some opinions on what camera i should be getting for portrait photography! All opinions welcome and feel free to suggest other cameras that i haven't mentioned!

How to take better pictures at bull rides?
I'm a photographer who takes pictures at a local bull ride. I currently use a nikon d3100 with a 18-55 mm lens and a 55-200 mm lens. I also use a sb-600 flash. I have been getting alot of really great shots, but I want to get the best shots that I can, all the time! I have been keeping my shutter speed high, so i can catch all the movement! However I have noticed that there are still parts of the pictures that are still blurred. Also, I have a harder time at night! Even with my flash, and my shutter speed at its max, the pictures turn out too dark. I have tried adjusting my shutter speed and the aperture, and it still only wants to work half the time, and they still turn out either too dark, blurred, etc. Does anyone have any good recommendations or tips to use? Anything would help and would be greatly appreciated! Also, any good tips on a good wide-angle lens for my camera!

Wide Angle lens for Nikon d3100?
I'm looking for a wide angle lens for my Nikon d3100. I have 2 lens now, which are 18-55mm and 55-200mm. I'm looking for a wide angle lens that will attach to one of the lens I currently have. I have just recently got in photography and I would like to purchase an inexpensive wide angle lens. Any suggestions are much appreciated!
Thanks in Advance.
Added (1). OK. Like I said I have just recently got into photography and wasn't exactly sure what lens I would need. I love the 2 I have now, they are amazing and I have found that I can shoot just about anything between the 2. I'm going to Ohio in a few weeks, when I was there before there were beautiful landscapes that I wanted to take pictures of, but at the time I had a digital Nikon and wasn't able to get the shots I had hoped for. Is there a any certain lens you would recommend me having other than the 2 I have now? As of right now I'm mainly taking portraits of family and friends until I get better. But I would also like to have a lens that is great for landscapes.
