Wide Angle lens for Nikon d3100?

I'm looking for a wide angle lens for my Nikon d3100. I have 2 lens now, which are 18-55mm and 55-200mm. I'm looking for a wide angle lens that will attach to one of the lens I currently have. I have just recently got in photography and I would like to purchase an inexpensive wide angle lens. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Thanks in Advance.

Added (1). OK. Like I said I have just recently got into photography and wasn't exactly sure what lens I would need. I love the 2 I have now, they are amazing and I have found that I can shoot just about anything between the 2. I'm going to Ohio in a few weeks, when I was there before there were beautiful landscapes that I wanted to take pictures of, but at the time I had a digital Nikon and wasn't able to get the shots I had hoped for. Is there a any certain lens you would recommend me having other than the 2 I have now? As of right now I'm mainly taking portraits of family and friends until I get better. But I would also like to have a lens that is great for landscapes.

The 18-55 is a wide angle. You want wider? That's getting seriously into fisheye and you can buy all kinds of things that screw on the front of the 18-55 lens. They are poor quality at best and sometimes interfere with the auto focus of the camera.
Just type fisheye lens into amazon and a billion of them will show up.

The 18-55mm is already pretty wide. Adding some cheap filter-like thing to make it wider will degrade the quality. Super-wide lenses are expensive, but you won't get closer to affording one by squandering money on junk. Since you are just starting out there are plenty of pictures to be taken with the lenses you have. If you want to buy something, the next thing on the shopping list should be a good tripod.

Unless you just enjoy wasting money forget about buying one of those so-called "ultra wide angle" screw-in attachments. If you really want to improve your photography spend your money on a good tripod. I consider a tripod as mandatory for landscape photography. I never leave home without it.

A poor choice.

Reasons?

* A $40 add-on produces colour aberrations and depending upon the maker can cause vignetting.
* such an add-on will produce "soft" images unless you stop the aperture down at least three or more stops.

Just save your pennies and get the Nikkor AF-S 10-24 mm lens. You will be much happier and your photos will match the quality your other lenses can produce

Here are samples of such add-on diopters

Get a sigma 10-20mm lens. Its as inexpensive as it gets without hurting image quality.

18mm is wide enough for most people.

You can get the Nikkor 10-24mm wide angle lens (I believe the aftermarket ones like Tokina do not have a focus motor so can't autofocus on the D3100), but they will take a good chunk out of $1000.

Perhaps 10-24mm, Tokina 11-16mm or something like that.

Tokina AT-X116PRDXN AT-X PRO DX 11-16mm Ultra-wide Angle Lens for Nikon has performed very well so far. It is very well built, sturdy and solid throughout. The images are sharp with only predictable distortion at the 11mm end. I really appreciate having a lens this fast for indoor work as well. I have no hesitation in recommending this lens.
