Would these lenses fit my D60?
So i was at a flea market today and there was a booth full of camera stuff. There was a case with lots of nikon stuff and there were lots of old lenses. They were all lenses from the older film cameras (i don't know what kind any of them were) but my question was will any of the older lenses work with my nikon D60? I know they won't autofocus but they were pretty inexpensive for nikon lenses.
As long as it's Nikon, it should work. Of course, bring your camera to make sure.
Aside from not being able to autofocus, you'll be stuck using the camera in M mode only and be doing your own guesswork in terms of exposure. However, as long as you're not chasing moving things all over the place, older lenses do have their charms, have way superior build quality than lenses of today, and can easily produce stunning images.
Nikon 60mm f/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor Lens which range from tack-sharp focus to wonderful bokeh beyond the depth of field. Nikon succeeded in designing a lens that furthers the aesthetics of a macro photographer's work. I have posted a few examples of photos taken with this lens.
