My D5100 Nikon camera gives me the message no memory card inserted?
I have a sandisk 16 GB SDHC inserted correctly in the camera. I get the message "no memory card inserted". If I reset the camera, I have been able to get the SDHC card recognized by the camera. However, when I try to take pictures, it comes back with the same message "no memory card inserted". The sandisc 16GB is on the approved list to use in the camera. I have tried 2 different SD cards without success. These cards are working when I put them in my computer. Any suggestions?
Two nikon d3100's, what's the difference? Which is better?
I'm thinking about buying a nikon d3100. I came across separate one which is red. Its the same price and pretty much identical to the original one. I'm not sure of the specs of each of them or if one lacks more than the other. I like the red one just cause of it's unique color but don't wanna buy it if it lacks something the original has or vice-versa. I did a comparison on best buy but I don't even know what I'm looking for or what the terms mean haha. Someone with experience know the difference?

I bought the Nikon D3000 package deal from Costco 2 years ago and now I'm thinking of selling it. I'm going to be selling the D3000 body with the 18-55mm and also the 55-200mm lens with a Nikon bag. It's in very good condition. Nothing's cracked or broken. How much do you think I could sell it for?

Note: The camera I work with is a nikon d3000, and I was thinking about avoiding a flash unit and bumping up the ISO then I realized that my ISO doesn't go as high as other professional cameras.
If I wanted to capture some good photos like lets say in a church, what would be a great exposure? Would my nikkor 35mm f/1.8 be sufficient for good portrait in a quincenera event? I also have the basic kit lens, 18-55, a 55-200, and my favorite prime 35mm f/1.8 lens.
